The agony and tundra fight for some reason make me think of DMC. Gabriel also says “foolishness” which just gives MAJOr Vergil vibes. Not only that but there’s the “ULTRAKILL MUST DIE” difficulty which represents the “Dante Must Die” difficult in DMC

@@tbroo8499 I believe in response to someone asking if Gabriel was going to be in the sandbox next update, Hakita said that bosses that would need reprogramming to be put in, or already have their own stages, wouldn't be in the sandbox. That probably extends to Gabriel not being in the cyber grind either
All jokes aside the voice actor of Gabriel is super talented in his work with video games. Like that dude can sound completely different in every game he does.
it specially tracks when you read his lore in the enemy database, he's the most feared and respected archangel, he brought down Minos without breaking a sweat, putting an end to the Lust Rennaissance, and after being essentially on a constant Win Streak, suddenly this lanky-ass machine comes aroun wrecking havoc through the layers of hell, and it doesn't just step up to him, but it absolutely destroys him in battle, using lead and energy beams to make an ANGEL bleed; and by the end of the fight, after Gabriel leaves, he isn't just "forgotten", the machine outright just, keeps going, as he faces trial before the council, where his one defeat and his attempts to excuse it as being "outdone" are seen as Heresy, as denying the strength of the Father's light, and after said light is stripped away from him, giving into the rage that had been seeded on his encounter with V1, he proclaims that, in time, even Metal will Bleed.
@@grimmreaper5349 I also like how he is this stoic holier than thou ass and then you defeat him and his stoic facade breaks down before your very eyes, he can't even hold in his anger and calls you a insignificant fuck, which is just priceless.

I kinda like the idea of possibly gameplay affected voice lines. Say you did super well, got either S rank or even maybe P rank an the majority if not all of the levels following up to this layer. Gabriel’s monologue is dark, eerie, like you’re some sort of evil he’s not even sure he can defeat, or that you’re some seriously fucked up entity (not saying you aren’t lol). But on the flip side, maybe you did super fuckin terrible all the way up to Gabe. Then it all kinda sounds like his first monologue, he’s nearly cheery and angelic, more sounding like a recited speech than a dark message. I dunno. Seems like a neat idea that would make you feel much more badass for absolutely smearing each layer on the pavement beforehand.

At this point i really doubt that v1 is just a go pro looking"thing" When you think about it v1 is not only fueled by demon blood,but he also regenerates parts of his own body At this point we can argue that v1 is some sort of demon hybrid now,not only fueled by hells rage and pain but also reinforced by it And after this fight we also bathed in the blood of an angel Since his weapons seem to be powered by his own energy(or maybe they have infinity shaped magazines hidden somewhere idk)it makes sense that he can defy not only the wrath of hell but also the council of angels now
I am sorely disappointed that at no time during the fight does Gabriel launch a blinding AOE attack of pure light yelling "BY GOD'S LIGHT I SMITE YOU!"
Gabriel in the game: giant fight with a machine controlled by a player who eventually learns his patterns by resetting time and forcing an enclunter again. Gabriel in the bible: "So you're telling me you didn't just rust the machine in place and stop the heart of the player?"
I had to come here to properly listen to the "You insignificant fuck" line because everyone who recorded the actual bossfight keeps trying to melee him or shoot him when the fight is already over
