It’s neat how, opposite to his first encounter, Gabriel loses the enraged status with his second phase, because he’s enjoying the fight rather than seeking revenge

The part where he says "I WILL *GRIND* YOU DOWN UNTIL THE VERY *SPARKS* CRY FOR MERCY!" is pretty metal, ngl.

Gabriel: "all that remains is PERFECT. HATRED." Me who read the title of the act: "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT"

Gabriel saying “My hands shall RELISH ENDING YOU! HERE AND NOW!” Puts goosebumps on my goosebumps and the hairs on my arm spike up like the tips of Gabriel’s swords.

I love how his rage is practically palpable before and during the rematch. Gianni killed it!

Every single one of these lines perfectly describes every person when a vending machine doesn’t properly work it’s uncanny when you think about it

I like how this basically confirms the fact that Gabriel is a bottom with a power complex

When Gabe says Limbo and List were already gone, with Gluttony soon to follow, I think what’s going on is a machine invasion is killing everything in hell. I thought they were merely like seeping in and causing chaos, but the ones V1 fights might just be the ones that have rushed ahead, and the main horde is following in his wake

Anyone think it was really sad to find that recording of Gabriel on loop in the Ferryman’s ship? In the lore, it’s said that Gabriel was the only Angel trying to get the Ferrymen into Heaven. I wonder how long he’s been reassuring them.

i like how kinky he gets in the second phase

If the first act taught me to hate Gabriel for killing Minos, then the second act made me love him for his gentle attitude towards Charon and his gradual break from the system as he moves forward with a suicidal will to break the vicious cycle that made and broke him

the pure sexual tension in "I await you down below... COME TO ME" is insane

I liked gabriel as a character but hated him due to killing minos. But now hearing about him saving the ferrymen and his uprising i have gained respect for him. God ULTRAKILL is a good game

God damn, we don’t hear this level of voice acting often, even rarer, you don’t hear people utilize the emotion in a slightly shrieking voice like when Gabriel’s “my hand will relish ending you” line.

Gianni's performance is what makes this so good. Paired with the music and visuals, it just makes Gabe just a phenomenal for that in no way feels frustrating to fight

honestly i think now Gabriel deserves some respect from community now he's not just a concul's dog now he's a guy who started to see that some things he where doing was wrong and also we see that he can be kind becose he only one who cares about the ferryman's and he really believe that even a sinner can fe forgiven. This new plot makes me like Gabriel a whole lot more. Before I thought he was just as much of an asshole as the holy council, and looked down his nose at humanity. And while that is _somewhat_ true, its clear that he does want to spread kindness and salvation. REAL salvation. Not just empty words of reassurance. Not to mention him being defeated by V1 twice has made him start to see things differently. He is a much deeper character now and I am personally all for it. The final rematch is gonna be a level of badass ranked on a biblical scale. (Heh)

(1:10) when I first heard this in game, I genuinely got so scared, it triggered my fight or flight response

some of the lines in the second fight sound more like gabriel wants to make out with V1 and not defeat him

Honestly Gianni knocked it out of the park, the pure desperation and anguish in his voice gives me shivers

gabriel's lines like "What is this feeling?!" and "Is this my blood? Haha... I've never known such... such... relief?" makes me thing he's a machine himself

Can we stop with the lewd jokes for a moment and appreciate how insane this voice acting is. The vergil references felt cheap in act 1, but god damn 1:48 is masterful voiceacting, along with the convincing unhinged laughing

His laughter as he slowly loses it god I fuckin love Gabriel

1:32 Hearing him say this to me after he killed me about 7 times during his second boss fight made me feel like he was actually insulting me, after that i got so sloppy with my movements i needed to take a break from the difficulty i was on and switched it to the next easier difficulty where i beat him first try.

I fucking love it when he says "My hands shall RELISH", i think the voice crack adds so much to really emphasize his anger and hatred towards V1

This makes me terrified because these lines, especially in the second phase of his fight, are extremely sensual. Istg when act 3 comes out and I fight Gabriel and when I damage him, I hear him just straight moaning I am turning off the game

Gianni really pumped his game up this act, the lines are so unbelievably raw

I love how at first Gabriel sees V1 as an annoying obstacle to remove, then purely hates it to realise that V1 opened his eyes and will probably want to fight it for the third time but out of passion, not anger. And I guess he'd want to be killed by V1 in the end, in a fair duel, with all might they both posess.

Nothing like therapising a literal angel by beating the stuffing out of him.

I love that he wants to show you both “Divine Justice” and “True Splendor”, reference to his swords “Splendor/ Justice” motif

WAIT if the disc-like thing in the sky is a galaxy it would be safe to assume it would be Andromeda. *By comparing the increase in Andromeda's size in the night sky to the size of Andromeda relative to the moon we can determine roughly how many years have passed.* Considering that we can assume that the moon of our Earth is the same one from Ultrakill's Earth, we could finally get a guess of when we all will _actually_ die.

In ultrakill, the character that fans are supposed to lust over is a man. I love indie games.

The VA for Gabriel did an outstanding job, you can REALLY feel his hatred for V1

I denied it for the longest time because it's just this funny little indie game with the funny meme voice actor. But I can't deny it anymore. Gianni's performance as Gabriel in ACT II is one of my favorite vocal performances in any media ever.
