@@tonberry2670 he is pretty aware of v1's bouts against gabriel and minos, so no matter the outcome of the fight, he knows that his goal will be reached, the only question is who will, which is what the fight itself answers. if sisyphus wins, it means he's stronger than heaven, since v1 already is. if v1 wins, sisyphus knows v1 will surpass heaven, even more so after v1 defeated him, so sisyphus wins either way.

His laughter actually gave me chills from how disturbed I was. He was just loving the fact he died to a worth opponent and never got exact his revenge yet clearly he loved it all and I bet money he would do it again in a heart beat.
Not only that, but it amounts to his lore too. He rebelled against the Heavens and despite their overwhelming strength and strategy, he fought with a smile on his face. Even though, he was fighting a losing battle, "doomed from the very start", the act of resisting his oppressors was enough to make him happy
i love how he refers to v1 as a “child of man” much like how minos sees them as a “creature of steel.” even though they’ve been imprisoned and damned by the heavens for god knows how long, the prime souls have enough hummanity to see the machines as more than just soulless automatons. just another indicator that those the angels punished have a better understanding of life than the angels themselves.
you know how strong he is since he BREAKS out of the flesh panopticon, which is a lore-wise UPGRADE to the flesh prison, where minos couldn't escape himself without your intervention.

I definitely think his mid fight voice lines are weaker than minos’s (that’s not to say they’re bad), but his pre and post fight speeches go fucking hard, like goddamn

Sisyphus rendered my ass into a 2 dimensional object. It took me 173 restarts on violent (granted I started on violent), and about 90 minutes of gameplay. And I loved every second of it.

I was honestly surprised by how restrained King Sisyphus turned out to be. For someone known for war and retaliation against Heaven, he was oddly calm and calculative, though the way he fought betrayed his personality. It wasn't until he was finally dying that we got to see any shred of madness. Also, Lenval Brown did an amazing job voicing Sisyphus.

Unlike Minos who was ashamed of his failure to be strong enough to defeat heaven, Sisyphus enjoyed fighting through the hardships and terrors that opposed him, and even if he failed he still had the last laugh

Sisyphus is more built than Minos, I assume because he was violent in life, and Minos wasn't, he's a more powerful prime soul. Which makes me wonder what P-3 is going to be.
I was playing this in the car with my mom, and she thought it was james earl Jones at 1st, and it had me wondering how epic and fitting it would be if he actually did voice sisyphus
