@@runerebel8441 Good morning, sorry for my english, i'm french :) I just bought the umarex HDB68 16 Joules and I would like to know how to unlock it and give it more power (without breaking it and being able to go back in the event of a problem) Do you have a procedure please? Thanking you in advance :)
Hi my friend. Look at my video where I powertune it. Its very easy to do so. Here is a linkru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KR-7wM1hTCU.html
Thanks. I have a video showing it with the HDR50 stock and using HPA and 88 gram CO2. But I dont store it with these on the marker. Check out my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vbLco23EX8I.html
man brother that was sure impressive , i was wondering , i cant remember , did you do any other mods to this weapon . i have yet to get one , i am still having too much fun with my hdp's and hdr.68 and tr.50 lol . by the way ,update , i couldnt move my right leg for 8 days , then i took 4 inch step , at day 12 , i could take a 10 inch step , on day 20 , i was able to pick my leg off floor a half inch while in a seated position , so i am finally on the mend . i went through pain as high as 8 to 10 on the pain scale , even with high doses of powerful pain medications i went through lots of hell . i had a week off to rest at house and work out , tomorrow , 7 25 23 i start rehab again in a very fine establishment . i want to personally thank you and everyone for all yalls reassuring prayers and words , i'm ALIVE lol , and will come back stronger than ever . it's really great to belong to such a awesome LTL community !!! great show as always my very awesome brother !!!
Thanks brother. I removed the valveblock. Sorry about all the pain and problems you have had. Iam glad you are getting better. Take care and stay safe bro
great video brother, i have a question for you , i have the hdp 50 marker , it came without the little disc restrictor like the one on your video , i wanna increase power & fps ,do you think i can achieve that by removing the valve block thats behind the barrel. and inserting the little disc restrictor with a bigger drill opening back in the handle ? so pretty much replacing one part for the other ,would that also decrease my shot count .
Thanks brother. Yes you can remove the valve-block. No restrictor is needed for the HDP50. It seems to shot just fine with an open valve. You will get one magazine of 6 good shots plus maybe 2 weaker shots before its out of CO2. If you want more shots from the CO2 canster then you can put in a restrictor inside the CO2 tube. The number of shots and power will depend on the hole in the restrictor. Cheers bro
Thank you. Iam glad you like my videos. For max power just remove the restrictor and valveblock. If you want more shots at a little lower velocity you can use the restrictor. The 1,5mm hole in the restrictor seems to be the optimum size 🤔
Thank you. Iam glad you like the video. I tested this by request. It seems that 1mm is giving about the same velocitys and energys as with 1,5mm, so no point in drilling it larger than 1mm. The HDP50 can be used without any restrictor, but not the HDR50. The HDR50 needs the restrictor or it will dump all the CO2 in one or two shots, or it might start farting... But from my testing dont drill it larger than 1mm. The restrictors from Umarex will interchange on the other versions if the model has a restrictor from the factory. Cheers😃
@@runerebel8441 thank you my friend... I've been trying to get that information out of everybody on RU-vid today. Everybody just tells me, "Well there's a bunch of different power upgrades out there for all the Umarex models"
7 good shots is impressive from a single 12g gas. 7 shots is enough to make any would-be intruder run away... lol. You only drilled the restrictor and no other modifications, correct? Keep the cool vids coming! =)
hello rune how are you....I have to let you know..as promised I finally collected the HDB 68 today..after seven months of waiting...I'll try it in the afternoon..the chronograph both in co2 12 grams and 88 grams and HPA 850 psi and 1100 psi ... I'll let you know ... ahh .. without having customized anything yet .. original . greetings
Hello my friend. Iam fine thenak. Hope you are fine also. Congratulations with the HDB68. Let me know how it goes. take care and have a great weekend 😃
Hi my friend. If you use the two adapters (HPA and 88 gram) then it should fit. The adapter for the 88 gram is the same threads as the 2x12 gram. But it depends on the length of the 2x12 gram. Some of them has very short threads and they might not work. Only way to know for sure if the test 🤔
No. The HDX has a long narrow brasstube with a small restrictor/plugg in the end of it. Powertuning the HDX involves removing the small plugg and the valveblock inside the valve (7,5 joule version).
Hi Rune, thanks for your video. My opinion: Only valveblok removed is the better upgrade for versatibility and stability, full loaded (16 balls) What do you think in fine about all your tests? Regards.
Thanks my friend. If you use it with only stock-restrictor and no valveblock you should be able to shot all 16 balls, but at low power. For best power remove the valve block and restrictor. You only get ca 6 shots from the CO2, but they will hurt... If you want to shot the hole magazine of 16 balls at good power you must use either 88 gram CO2 or HPA. Cheers 😃
nice test Rune :) the gen 1 hdb68s shoot around 50 js with a 1.5mm, they done a couple things dif to the newer gen 2 hdbs, umarex needs to leave them alone and stop messing with them lol
Thank you Jeff. Yes I think they have changed stuff inside them. I have the gan2 version with a crimped CO2 tube. So Im afraid to use HPA 1100 PSI in it. Still very fun to use 😃. Cheers🙂
Merci d'avance
Hi my friend. As you can see from the video I get ca 35 joule with a drilled restrictor. If I used it with an open valve (no restrictor) I would get 45+ joule 😃
Hello my friend. Happy new year to you also. I got the aluminium balls from www.homedefence-24.com and I think they are 17,3mm but I have not messured them. Good luck 😃
Thanks my friend. Depending on ammo and temperature you will get around 12 shots from the CO2 canister. Power might be around 50 joule or so. Remember that you must also remove the valveblock. Cheers
Hi my friend. The O-ring I think of sits inside the valve. It can pop if the pressure is very hi. Try not to use ammo they has a tight fit. Plus remember to use siliconespray in the CO2 tube. Then you should be OK 😃@@cedricbardin3385
smiles looks good, i am thinking of getting the mecury rising tr.50 it is getting a bit higher velocities than those you show here in its stock config, and i found them on ebay for $119. but i cannot find the torpedos or killer arrows in .50cal anywhere. do you have a linhk?
@@runerebel8441 thank you friend. i would use them in an air rifle at 500fpe. haha the hunting arrows they sell us are like 30bucks each , and i would rather have something like the killer arrows anyway. as i am using a 51 cal element max , and the .50cal stuff travels inside the rifleing of my airgun. would probably be going over 1200fps . haha its gonna kill a deer for sure right. my breach is over an inch long and slides shut like a crossman 1377 pistol does just alot bigger. and yyeah i am buying one of the murcury rising .50cal markers cause it is built alot better than the tre 50 but looks alot like it. mostly metal not plastic and bid screws not those tiny ones that strip out. and it has a threaded co2 compartment so can be modded to pcp. smiles and i do need a pistol. well untill i bet that hp max pistol and 5 inch barrel. that is like 200fpe and has a 6 shot mag. i sure wish they let yall have air guns but i do understand. thanks for the killer arrows link.
@@AIRGUNZ_MILITIA Sounds like perfect ammo for your cal50 😃. The new Torpedo revolver sounds and looks very interesting indeed. Hope I get hold of one later 😃. Take care and have a great weekend 😃
@@runerebel8441 yup , and i do think the killer arrows will be great for the high fpe air gun for deer, should make a hugh wound channel. smiles and yeah get that mercury riding 50 cal it is basically a tre 50 but all metal construction instead of plastic. way more heavy duty. you have a great weekend as well.
