Pb free Jsb 1 gram pellets got me - bought pellets first,rifle after...its kind of great for this price.I asked as well,to change back in Hatsan 130 QE .30 a gas piston to a spring-all in 17j limit with all sealings and o rings-it`s weird and difr but its unreal.
Though Lead travels slower remember; Lead imparts more kinetic force (into an object) than steel. Slower speed does not mean less 'impact' on the target :)

Do you see any advantage to using other than the rubber/steel balls? Does it benifit the defender with more stopping power? Also, in your country it might not be legal, but was wondering if you knew anything about the power upgrade for this one?
Hi. When making your own slugs/ammo you can make it fit the barrel and cylinder for your gun. With heavy slugs the energy will normaly rise, and the accuracy might improve also. I have powertuned mine and now it gives me ca 34 joules max. You can buy the Powerkit50 from www.homedefence-24.com and he sends all over the world 😃

Are these devastators slugs not a little too heavy for the 7,5 joule version? Do you know how much power they gives with that gun? That was a lot of questions :). Recover well, take care
Hello and thank you my friend. Well. Its been a while since I used it in 7,5 joule format. But from what I can remember the 1,5 gram seems to be a good weight for it. With a 1,5 gram ball or slug you should get ca 330-360 fps and get an energy of +/- 7 fpe or 9,5 joule. The Devestators will be to heavy, maybe even jam the gun... @@runerebel8441 my revolver was intentionally compromised by putting the co2 plug in a vise and ruining the threads on the plug once in the gun no more velocity after 3 shots anyway to fix it,,,the metal in the gun is softer than the plug so I figure it is shot out. Glad you got better, God bless you, I had the orange and black one to which constantly jammed if loaded with 6 shots, easily corrected by touching the slide spring button, but all of these so called weapons to me seem to be a joke. Thanks, my advice smaller gun with more co2 capacity , the idea is great, just feel under gunned.

You can buy the HDR50 in both 11 joule and 7,5 joule from www.game-on.no And to get it to shot at 20-30 joule you need the Powerkit50 and long barrel sold from www.homedefence-24.com
Hello Harold. Pellgunoil is good and on airguns thats normaly what I use also. Because I have the silikonespray I just use it since its easiyer for me to just spray some on down in the CO2 tube. But you can also use Pellgunoil and tefloneoil :)
I also believe after watching another youtube channel testing the slugmaker, the best weight for slugs should be around 2.2 gram and 2.8 gram so they can be fast enough and also have decent energy.
So assuming joules is the best measurement of power, despite the fps being lower on the heavy steel bbs, the impact was the highest at approx 9 joules, higher than the rubber, and harder if straight steel slingshot bbs were used, which is pretty high when an average .177 BB gun is only pushing out 2 joules at 300-350 fps i believe. Quite impressive I’d say for the 7.5j version without mods. Would you say the HDP 5.0 would be most likely the same results? Cheers interesting vid
Excellent video, i bought the 11 joules version and the slugmaker, i will try to use pointy pellets instead of bbs ;), possibly some 5.5mm for some extra weight.

@@runerebel8441 it's difficoult to made these kind of slugs (hornet+hotglue)with slugmaker, but with a little patience it'possible.next days i'll post a video about it, but i don't have the right instruments like you rune to tests it .
For the casting medium for homemades. Could you try Old style Sealing Wax (for packages) with some steel. Set sealing wax is brittle and should shatter on impact. Non reusable home defense slug?.
Hy :) your test has a mistake. Surely the first shoots are more powerful. If you shooting more times in a few seconds , the gas cardride is getting frozed and has no more power like before.Same effect you have when you have a cardride for Airbrush. Then you have to wait few minutes after brushing a little or put the can in warm water(i think its not good idea) . I would only say that it isnt the weapon that has a mistake or anything that cause the different fps. I already have this weapon buyed and tested a long time. I appreciate your channel very much.......Just got a few of these. It says use rws spring cylinder oil on moving parts trigger hinge and co2 cap? Should I also put it on the cylinder? Should I be using RWS CHAMBER LUBE in the chamber? if so where would I put it, the top of the chamber?? Finally, is silicone spray good for spraying into chamber and moving parts as you do? I have read different things about this. Thanks a million!
Hello my friend. I dont know what the RWS oil is made of. If its silikoneoil then you can use it. Just make sure you never put mineral oil on O-rings and seals, because that will ruin them. I have used silikonespray on my CO2 airguns for many years now and never had any problems because of it. But for lubing the mecanism you should use another oil like teflone oil or even vaseline, but it depends on what parts need lubing. Hope this info is useful. Cheers :)
To keep things simple and not spending too much ! Would you go for a 7j and modify it or a straight 11j and then see what simple mods could ramp up the power ? Object of my plan is to hurt who ever it hits HARD !
Hi. For optimum power you need the 7j. The 11 j has good power to but not as much as a ramped up 7j. For this you need a barrelkit and the Powerkit50 from www.homedefence-24.com and then you get ca 30j+. If you dont want to buy the long barrel and Powerkit50. Then just buy the 11j and remove the valveblock. That will give you a max energy with heavy slugs at ca 18j. You will get two full cylinders at this power, plus a few weaker shots.

@@carforumwanker Iam glad to help. Buying extra barrelset and powerkit cost you almost as much as the gun itself. So if you want to save some money (or maybe buy an extra gun), then just buy the 11j and remove the valveblock. That will give you plenty of power for two full cylinders :)

I have the 7.5jul HDP if a shortened the valve 2mm ,.....got the long barrel,......is there ANYTHING i can use as the valve co2 block??,.or some kind of piece i can MAKE?,.....im in the US and cant find or prob get a kit,.......if i cant get a co2 block,.....what can i do to max the FPS in the HDP 7.5?,........or could i just shorten the valve and get a barrel extention and still up the power,......thank you sir!
You can make the CO2 block from an old used 12 gram CO2 canister. Cut off the front part. You need ca 1 cm in diameter. I know a sweedish guy did this and it worked great. Good luck :)
if i understand its just a piece that will fit snug with a tiny hole? press it into that space? how would you make the top of a co2 fit and stay put,...are you sayin just the tip or cut off part of the tank as well? tip looks too small
@@5664788 Yes. You need to block the large hole between the CO2 tube and valve. The hole is ca 1 cm large. So find something to block the hole and drill a 0,5mm hole in it so you fill the valve with CO2. A guy from sweeden cut the front part of a used CO2 canister as plugg. He just pushed it in. Same as you do with the block from homedefence-24. It just pushed in with a long rod.
Hi. I have several videos where I shot at tincans etc. My 7,5 joule version has now the Powerkit installed so it gives ca 30 joule with the heavy ammo. Lots of videos on my channel
@@jasonziyad5985 If its 11 joule its the max setting from the factory. Than all you need to do is remove the valveblock and put in the long barrel, then you have a "magnum" revolver. The 11 joule version dont have the F inside a pentagram on the barrel.

It would only shot holes in a popcan. Tincans are to thick for the ammo to penetrate in the 7,5 joule version. My 11 joule barely shot holes in a tincan with the heavy slugs..

@@acaposotta Thank you. Iam very glad you like my videos. The easiyest way for more power is using heavy slugs (5-7 gram). This should rise the energy to ca 10 joule. Buy the Slugmaker50 or Ammo6 V9 moulds and cast them from hotglue and lead/steel balls. You can buy the moulds from www.homedefence-24.com and www.tech23.de
