@@AlifieAbsinTh Just a good dose down the CO2 tube where the CO2 canister sits. Helps lube the seals. Some oil in the cylinderchambers is good if you use 3D printed slugs too. Prevents jamming :)

Thanks. With my powersetting I get 8 full power shots, with a total of 12 shots. Max energy seems to be around 30 joule depending on ammo weight

Hello Deon. Iam very glad you like my videos. If you have the 11 joule version then just remove the valveblock. Then you will get ca 20 joule or more with heavy ammo. If you put in a longer barrel you will get over 30 joule. But it looks better with the short barrel. Yes. The discount days are over... If you like big bore revolvers I can highly recomend the HDR68. Very easy to powertune if you want to ;)

@@runerebel8441 I'm sticking with the 7.5 .50 when it arrives, start from there, not sure if ive asked but could the 68 barrel be added to the .50 for some crazy idea? Or would it just be more sensible to get .68 handcannon sometime? I've got some plans to make some uk relevant videos, regarding law, and basics, and of course if it's okay I'll mention your knowledge an inspiration,

@@ThirdEyeLazerClinic Thank you. That would be great. The 50 has good power to. But if you want to shoot 68 ammo then you must buy the larger cal revolver. Dont think the 50 can be modded to fit a 68.. 🤔

Don’t put pepperballs if you have modified HDR. I quess pepperballs are better for 7.5J and 11J.

Hey, phone going haywire, But I've just got a basic 7.5, .50 hdr50, and Iike skulls, books and art..... so I intend to use a couple pigs heads from meat market and see what happens with different ammo then give them as prizes or sell after I've done my graffitil Diy art on them then, bookends! so any ideas. Pigs heads now normally come minus ears and cheeks, Nouveau Peasent Food, so need to think of gels, ooblek etc,

Hmm. I think they are aprox the same. The benefit of the HDR is that you can also shot slugs, plus its faster to reload. The downside is that ist bulkier than the HDP... Both are great guns with ca the same power...

Well. Its OK for plinking and paintball games... Or you can powertune it... But dont do it if you can get in jail for it...

@@runerebel8441 it's fun for what it is. Strict laws in the UK so not worth breaking them. I might get the pump action .68 as the law allows 16J for that length of weapon. I keep the HDR by my bed at night, it's better than nothing during a break in.

@@BigDuke6ixx Yes I agree. A little is better than nothing. Buy the HDX68. Its expensive but worth the money. Spray in some teflonespray and the restrictor might popp out and this will give you more power 😉. Good luck 😃👍

I messure the velocity at the muzzle with the X-Radar chrony. I know the weight of the ammo and can then calculate the energy.😉

Thanks. Iam glad you like the videos. I think the HDR50 is the best of the bunch since you can also shoot slugs :) I have shot with my 7,5 joule version in both normal and tuned for over 2 years now, so well over 1000 shots fired. Only jammed a few times because of bad ammo.

I think you are right. With over 30 joule and hit in the head I guess they drop... I hope I never find out..

Head shots with this revolver is ridiculously easy! Rubber training balls group into "minute of face" at 20'. Switching to better made plastic sabot holding 8mm steel balls (via Italy!) greatly reduces groups to 3"x3" firing fast double action (the only option available). And at 50 grains they hit HARD.
