Hi Rune, just got some ball-bearings. A little light sanding to the HDR50 magazine holes and WOW !!, good ammo. I dont have the HD-24 long barrel but my God, I bet it would be very good. Happy New Year mate.

Thanks again for your diligence in collection of much appreciated data. Seems to me that a noise suppression system could be incorporated into the extension barrel. However, this might mean a loss of power? Perhaps not? 😎👍❤🖖
Thanks my friend. A silencer/moderator might be a good thing. But loosing the extra barrel lenght will slow down the velocity. However it would be worth it :)
Very impressive! And I believe that was all on same CO2 cartridge. I imagine a fresh one on the longer barrel would have made an even more dramatic difference.

I was hoping I could save some money on getting only the internal barrel upgrade…….but this does show that the longer barrel really makes a big enough difference. Thanks so much! I do have another question, I remember you made a video where the revolver had an issue of “farting” or leaking some gas, why was this and how can it be prevented or fixed? Thanks
Thanks. Iam glad you like the video. The farting is because of the pressure in the valve is to hi. At least thats my guess. It happend to me when shooting without the CO2 block in the CO2 tube. Cheers :)
Hi. With the Powerkit installed in either versions you will get ca 20+joule, but it depends on the ammo weight and temperature. Using a 5 gram slug should give you ca 20 joule +/-

Hello and thanks my friend. If you dont use the barrel extention then I dont think its worth it. Its the long barrel that gives more power, so without the extention the velocity will be about the same as the stock barrel.
am very happy that it has a lot of power, I notice that it sends quite strong, my revolver has a 20 Joules valve, plus the power provided by the two-part steel barrel, 17 centimeters long, apart I have firearms 24 joule pcp air, happy shooting equally dear friend 😉💪😁👌.

You´ve made videos about the 7,5 /germany/ version with shorter valve -also good for 18-25 Joule - is it the same with the pressure adapter -also tank bottles ?? - many thx for your perfect work
Thank you. The HPA tank will need to have a higher output pressuse to make it have as much power as when using CO2. I guess ca 1100 PSI or more for best result :)

Thanks my friend. If you remove the valve block from both then power will be about the same. But you will need a restrictor for the 7,5 joule or it will fart (dump CO2).You can buy one from www.homedefence-24.com or make one from the tip of a used CO2 canister. Good luck with the experimentation 😃
Yes I know. I've already done them both. A little more room for air and the power tuned restricter cap I think is why it gives me a little more. Oh, I did put a little shorter valve pin in the 7.5. 🤣👍 Thanks- Hope all is well with you......

Hi Jason. This will happend when the barrel spring is jammed or you have thightned the long extra barrel to much. Try and pul out the barrel gantly. Can you pul it out ca 1 cm? If not loosen the barrel a bit. If it still dont work right you have to open the gun and check the barrel spring. Maybe it has jammed. Good luck 😃
I think the slugs used in this video is very close for getting max power from the HDR50. You can also try other ammo in the same weight (5 gram) and se how it goes.
@@runerebel8441 I just received the barrel and shroud today. But after installing them the gun makes a, for lack of another term, fart noise and blows most of the Co2 out of the ammo drum. It's installed properly, so I don't know why it's doing it yet.
@@iyeetpaste3797 Hmm. Did you open the internals? Maybe the small spring for the sear has been dislocated 🤔. It sounds like it from the way you say what happends. Open it up and check the spring 😉. Good luck 😃👍
@@runerebel8441 Forgive my ignorance, but what's the "sear"? Once I took the one side of the shell off, I removed the barrel with its recoil spring and then put the new one in and closed it up. Made sure nothing else came apart. I did notice that the new spring is much stronger though because it was a tad difficult getting the ammo drum back in due to the part (I don't know it's name) that pushes into the drum to make a seal between the barrel and the ammo is tighter.
@@iyeetpaste3797 No problem. Iam glad to help. The sear is the pice that holds the black bolt in place until you pul the trigger. The sear has a small spring with two "hooks" on it. The normal issue if the gun farts or dumps out the CO2 is that the spring has been dislocated or lost. However since you have not opened the internals I cant say for sure. The farting sound can also come if the gun is cold or you shoot fast. You can also try another brand of CO2. Good luck

Hi. From the testing I have done it looks like the valve in the 7,5 joule is a little larger, but I have been told from others that they are the same. The valveblock from the 7,5 joule wont fit inside the 11 joule, hence I think the valvevolume is a little larger. The power will therefore be somewhat more from the 7,5 joule. Maybe 2-3 joule more...
When it comes to impactpower: reading the velocity IN the barrel, isn't doing the longer barrel justice. The barrel makes the hdr and hdp more piwerfull then that, messuring four meters from the barrel. Thats How most european laws are written. Jouls 4 meters from the end of The barrel. Hello Jamtland. My F1 Chrony struggels to read CO2 guns, hence I use the X-Radar Chrony. The velocity I get is the muzzle velocity. I dont have the space to messure from 4 meters away, sorry. Greetings from Oslo :)

@@runerebel8441 Hello friend, I also put the steel barrel in two parts, it gives more precision and power to the HDR 50, how many joules do you measure with the steel barrel? Me at 20 meters the impacts are much more grouped, I am satisfied and I appreciate your video, a like for you friend 👍
@@Rocky-zs9ye Hello my friend. The power has gone up from ca 20 joule to ca 30 joule when I use the long barrel. I only shoot indoors at max 12 meters, but normaly at only ca 5 meters. More power and better accuracy with the long barrel 😃. Take care my friend and happy shooting 😃
