My high school couch physically ejected an umpire with the help of some parents after pitcher hit me with the ball and empire calling it a strike. He refused to correct the call and he was gone. Opposing couch supported it and the empire was never seen again. Three home runs that night and me and the pitcher shook hands like good sportsmen.

Honestly, how hard is it to NOT hit the umpire with your bat?

Baseball needs to get with the times and allow instant replay and challenges.

Earlier this year I had a game and the ump was horrible. He was making bad calls for both sides but we couldn’t really do anything. I’m am in 13u right now (2019 June) btw. The game after mine was the team that just played us vs the team who hosted the tournament. It was pool play. After that my team and I played the team who hosted the tournament on the same field but with a different umpire behind the plate. The other team’s coach explained to my team’s coach that the bad umpire was drunk and they kicked him out. He was also seen driving home with a beer on his car. That’s probably not very good. It was a first, but it happens.
