For me the best part of this video is 4:54 I also like how every time Ryu uses his Shinku Hadoken everyone in the background yells the name out. it just shows how pumped up the crowd is
I love that Chris G Hawkeye team, it's so much more fun to watch then the Morrigan stuff. And clearly it's still a solid team. Here's hoping we see more of that.

People just make out Chris G to be the bad guy of the fighting game community solely because he plays Morrigan proficiently. Like you said, he doesn't just have basic SF lockdown, but consistent ways to hit confirm as well. His attitude on the other hand, that's another story...XD
Not to mention he regularly performs well in KoF and SSF4. But, hey, everyone wants to hate the guy at the top and cheer for the underdog so that they can feel unique (even though *everyone* doing it means they're really the same as everyone else, but shhhhhh.)
Morrigan can be taken out, you just have to have some luck and patience. Chris just knows he can beat RayRay anytime of day, so he doesn't take playing him seriously enough. Chris is godlike though at this game...I can watch that fight between him and Justin from EVO all day long
Its because he used that team that he basically made himself the bad guy. Dude became a staple for alot of other players especially online whom use that same tactic. And thats why he gets boo'd and complained on alot even when he uses a different team. Dude turned himself into the bad guy basically.
Its because he always bodies RayRay with Morrigan team. The first set didn't matter to him because even if he lost it he'd just body RayRay in the 2nd set with said team.
I just hate how people think Chris G is all about Morrigan's SF spam when he's not :/ He can play without Morrigan and this video shows it. And even if he was it takes skill to play as Morrigan. 500K damage from most reliable hit confirms (j.S, J.H, Soul Fist, or assist), mid health, and insane execution. He made a name for himself through hard work.
I like how people complain about his morrigan team, he wins with another team no morrigan, no doom, people still complain. Why aren't people mad at ray ray for going up against this guy and losing yet again??

no im pretty sure you have met players that can do the soul fist bullshit better than him but the reality still remains that he can and always will be able to win without her and he is still one of if not the best morrigon in the biz which is only scrubby to those who cant beat it
People are tired of his main team and its usual dominance. Factor in that it isn't particularly exciting to watch repeated soul fists and you have your answer.

It's boring if the same guys wins all the time. Regardless of what team he is playing or what strategy he is using. The rest of the scene just needs to get on Chris G's level.
