Great overview. I'm new to CRK and picked up a used small Sebenza 21 and new large Inkosi last month. Jumped right in with both feet. I love the ergos on the Inkosi but really appreciate the lighter pocket weight of the small Sebenza. Of the two, I can see keeping the Inkosi. I read, however, that the Umnumzaan is the go-to user between the three models.
Pocket clip on the lockbar benefits me for its carry in the pocket. It means the clip protrudes from the very corner of the pocket. And is directed straight down. On the 21, I believe it was also conceived of as an overtravel stop.
That nub on the top is a glass breaker! I love my zaan but it’s hard picking between that and my inkosi for “hard use”… my thumb likes my well broken in sebenza more haha
I have handled a few new Sebenzas I was not a fan. I should probably try out a Zaan and an Inkosi before I write them off completely. Thanks for the look!
I very much disliked the large Sebenza 31 and moved it on quickly. I LOVE the large Inkosi though. I also like the small Sebenza. It's interesting how much larger it is than the small Inkosi but all three are keepers. But no way on the large Sebenza.
Wonderful video. But the Koenig arius is the best Knife money can buy. Aside from customs and exotic materials as a pure knife that Koenig arius is mastery. The Chris Reeve spectacular but if you could only on one knife it would be the Koenig arius
@Damen0530 It literally may be the shape of my thumb or less sensitivity in my nerve receptors. I literally have very thick skin in my hands and feet. I am banking on me being abnormal in that regard. I am grateful because I love my Umnumzaan so much.
I’ve owned all the models and sold them all. I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t like them. They’re great quality. They just don’t interest me. I much prefer my Demkos and my Hinderers.
Hinderer may win in looks or fidgety action but from what I’ve seen he runs his steel soft and is charging a premium price for a flat grind. So CRK will outperform a Hinderer every day and for years to come.
@@pocketpriorities thank you so much! Yesterday I had the possibility to buy a brand new Umnumzaan and it’s got a Tanto blade, I was starting to doubt if I had made a mistake 😬 it’s on the way home
