Looks interesting. I've only practiced in LiftOff but from the screens you've shown I like that we're now seeing car chases and cliff dives which are really more realistic to what we ( I ) would be doing in the real world. Heading out to the West Coast in early Nov. Thinking I might have to give this a test run prior to my trip just to 'fine tune' my FPV skills. Thanks for the review! Your is the 1st video I've watched on this simulator.
Hey there! Thanks for the words and time it took to write them. I feel the same as you man. Worth practicing how we want to be flying. The arctic map you can fly high into the mountains! It’s very sick. Am recording and editing that now
These maps look better than even liftoff. I just wish they'd at least add preset drone types (racing, cinematic, micro, heavy), rather than expecting the average person to enter their betaflight settings, and know what they mean. This would be confusing for those of us wanting to use a simulator FIRST, before we have drone to compare to, which is the financially sensible thing to do.
@@MichaelHoughton_ Lets hope so. The game definitely has a lot more potential :) Either way, I have much to learn in the sim before I even touch a $300-500 (DJI Vista drone). I can't even do most freestyle stunts. I keep drifting sideways after a banking turn, can't figure out how to quickly stop and turn (racing style) and I seem to always end up 100+ft in the air when I'm trying to circle something. But practice makes perfect.
I have no idea who you are because I only wanted to check a review of this game but your presentation of this video (an unobtrusive third on the right with you talking to the camera and the rest taken by actual footage) is very good.
Hey mna thabnks for the kind words! i hope it helps! If you rlooking at sims i would have a look at TRYP FPV, there is another first look and review of that too on my channel i think i have three vids on it! I prefer it to uncrashed tbh!
i got it yesterday , i own the liftoff simulator a few moths now and in comparison it is not a racing simulator as good as drl or liftoff but ........... i can say only one thing , it is an epic simulator for cinematic training , 1 awesome graphicks 2 realistick enviroment 3 car chasing !!!!! 4 cliff diving !!!!!! . what i find it lacks to get even beter , weather changes and winds , model selection with actual models characteristics fixed and maybe rates sudgestions from expiriensed pilots as a starting point for newer players . overall i love it , didnt regret that i got it only for the car chase training oportunity and i am happy that i got much more from what i expected
Fuck me those graphics are sick also the fact you can chase cars is mad because you cant practice that without having to go through the logistics of getting a driver etc etc Makes me really want to start drone flying
The graphics look amazing, but the physics don't seem as good from what I can tell. Velocidrones latest update allows you to purchase an extra freestyle pack that let's you chase cars. The graphics aren't as good though.
Hey Davey, honestly not quite sure yet if i think the physics are worst then the others! I do like the graphics alot though and its new so has that going! hope your well and thanks for stopping by!
Hi, my Uncrashed sim does not recognize my DJI controller 2, neither Radiomaster TXS16. Just an example: when calibrating, the throttle stick appears on the right side moving horizontally!! Very weird!!
I'm pissed off I stayed away from it at first. Read some negative comments about flight characteristics. Man where they wrong. It feels incredible and looks even better. It performs so well. Loading is instant. Its so so good. I think it took the crown from liftoff for me. I've tried them all. To me this is the new best Sim. Thanks to your excellent review I decided to give it a go. Wow what a fantastic game
I really wish you could use your goggles for this sim as it is the best looking I have seen!!!! This looks awesome!!!! But when you can use your actual gear that will be the ultimate sim! I think it will help you learn alot better....only because it is a completely different feel when you have goggles on compared to not having them on....having peripheral vision makes me feel alot safer when I fly for some reason I get alot more nervous when I fly with my gogs on lol I just feel like I don't have as good of "orientation" as I do with them off....is it just me? Lol that is what I think will help overcome that if I could just practice on a sim like this and be able to wear my gogs....just my opinion though😁 this sim makes me want a gaming pc so bad!!!!! It would also be cool if they somehow made it so that you could use your radio and gogs on a gaming console like ps5 or xbox because I could see a game like this coming out on them👍✌
Hey man! Thanks for stopping bye and appreciate the time you have taken to write the comment! I totally agree with you regarding the simulator working with the gogs! I’m working on a solution so hopefully I can help! This sim is very pretty and surprisingly realistic I find! Happy to provide any help I can! Have a dope day!
@@MichaelHoughton_ yeah I never expected it to just happen hahaha ... I just need to order some goggles but for now I'm more than happy to smash up the drone on the simulator games hahaha
Installed, tried and Requested refund. With the xbox remote it is just spinning, it does let you fly forward, and when you flips you hit the ground and you done. Not happy with the remote support, it is so bad. I gave up. If you have any advice please let me know. I was so mad. I was reading how great it is and it is useless when you cannot fly forward.
You have to go into the settings and configure the controller. It's kind of confusing but it works. I had the same problem at first but basically you go into control settings and select auto for each movement (yaw, pitch, roll, etc) and then move whichever stick in the direction you want it to work and it automatically detects that and saves the preset. Hopefully that makes sense
