Trust me after the fall these locations were gone over very well by the allies. Anything of value and weapons were removed so people like us would get our hands on it. The military then either blew them up or filled in the enterance ways. Yet there is still a lot that were never found. Friend of mine was stationed in germany in the early 70s. 2 soldiers were walking across a field and fell in to an underground storage building. Had some german planes, medical equipment guns etc. Of course uncle sam comes in takes everything and blew it up. Sometimes I really really hate our government.

@@WW2HistoryHunter What you did could have been very dangerous. Many people are killed in confined spaces. You should have a monitor or air sensor that displays the oxygen level. Rusting metal scrubs oxygen from the air and you could have passed out and not realized the danger. Please get one if you intend to do this again and be careful.

That was an amazing find. It was great to see it without graffiti and lots of rubbish left in it. The German planning of these defensive structures was stunning, you look at what they built and just have to acknowledge the talent. That V in the stone, when the guy drew that V, he would never have dreamt it would be uncovered nearly 80 years later by you sharing it for the World to see. I love how laid back EE is, the lad has knowledge beyond his years in this subject. Thank you for taking us to yet another stunning location and uncovering history as you do. 😊👏

What an amazing bunker, and so untouched. Looks like hardly anyone has been there since they stripped out most of the internals after the war. Even the doors are still in place! Love it when you find them like that, without the graffiti and pure vandalism, that more accessible bunkers suffer. And wow, truly stunned by that little power connection "bunker" deep in the forest. Now that strikes me as a quite rare find. Great to see EE is still living up to his reputation, and never missing a thing. Great work both of you! Cheers to you all!

Great job to both of you. I thought you had found a water tank with that stream running away. But to find a Siemans junction in that condition, lid appears to be gone as normal, with the cable connections still intact is great. Have you ever taken and dug down around the cable marker to see if the cable is still there? Sweet another Regalbau to add to my collection, going to have to start 3D modeling them soon so I can 3D print them to scale. I presume the MG point was the standard ring mount as a support cover for the left flank. Surprised the locals , 70 years ago, did not cut that armor plate up and take it out in chunks. Great to see so much intact in the bunker free of graphiti, agree with why they painted over the German writing. Well done my friend and EE. Can't wait for part 2. Stay safe and well.

The wet weather made for an interesting exploration. It probably made it harder for features to be seen. So not all defensive positions were about protecting installations but defending major roadways. The bunker was in very good condition. Have you ever come across one with some of the equipment still in it?
@WW2HistoryHunter
@WW2HistoryHunter Год назад
Yes this was to be able to cover a stretch of road which led to a very important German WW2 investment. Some have leftover gear inside , specially the private owned ones. Thanks Anthony.

Wow! Man, it is so great that the bunker is so undamaged by, as you rightly called them, idiots. Looking forward to seeing the other two videos in the series!

I seen you had a picture of a spitfire I'm an airframe and power plant mechanic so I work on a lot of airplanes right now a gentleman in my town but a spitfire that just came here in a crate so we've been piecing things back together restoring it basically from spinner the tail and everything in between and this spitfire was part of the Battle of Britain it's got a lot of history including four kills

Nasty wet weather, but you still finished what you were out to do. I can see why you would've fallen on your butt a couple of times HH. Great find re the cable rock, underground gun/ammo bunker, and the cable conjunction thingy dingy indicating there were more points of interest to be discovered. That 620 model was huge, so well constructed and laid out . Great to see some original German writing on the wall and on the filter unit. Impressive set-up. A good thing you had your powerful Olight X7R Marauder. Definitely looking forward to P2 and to see what EE has planned for us. Stay safe you two.
