Another great use for Etalus ftilt is just sending people offstage for his monstrous edgeguards. Then when someone recovers low to try and avoid the bear, ftilt at ledge can just reset the situation entirely with it's huge disjoint to stuff out recovering with a hitbox.

the points you've made with ranno dair have been circulating around ranno circles for a while now lol a few more things to add on - dair 2 -> jump cancelled upsmash is true. it's one of the only kills confirms that still works at super high percents where nothing else would be a true confirm - dair 3 hitfall -> dacus destroys floaties. it purples at like 70%. have a mid percent kill confirm that isnt an edgeguard is insane - dair 3 waveland usmash is one of the most potent plat confirms in the game aside from zetter and ori/sien upsmash confirms. you are usually positive enough that you dont even need to tech chase most of the time - dair 1 has enough of a slight disjoint that it can be useful for poking through platforms to contest sharking, or to scoop someone onto a platform unexpectedly - it's another lingering aerial that ranno has outside of nair. if you drop down with dair to edgeguard and the opponent doesn't know when to tech or don't know to actually di in towards the wall, they just die - hitfall dairs on platforms are a surprisingly simple way to set up chengi drops (platcancel bairs) dair is broken EDIT: forgot dair was nerfed. dair 1 and 2 have more landing lag when hitfallen. so dair 2 upsmash isnt *technically* true. but it's closer to how you would apply uair 1 usmash now. it's threatening and a great confirm to know regardless. my b lol

Do you think people underrate bomb parry? Like I feel like it's one of the primary things that good mollos do with bombs. Like, yeah after the (heavily deserved nerf) when it didn't just WIN neutral for you by giving you full parry I frames and removing status marks, but at the VERY least it still gives you the ability to throw out parry in an almost unpunishable way. Like you mentioned how Parry isn't the basic defensive option and a part of why that is is because it's got 20 frames of whifflag, but if you bomb parry you don't have to deal with that. You get all the normal projectile parry cancels.
