Thats the beauty of these wwe video games today, with the classic wrestlers and modern day stars mixed together. You can do all these dream matches that have never happened and probably wont ever happen. In wwe 2k14 I did the dream match Stone Cold vs Goldberg. I did Shawn Michaels Vs Rock. John Cena vs Hulk Hogan (80s). Austin vs Hogan. Kane (97) vs Hulk Hogan. Bret Hart vs Daniel Bryan! Submission match. Shawn Michaels vs Daniel Bryan. Austin vs Punk. Cena vs warrior. Orton vs Savage. Big show va andre the giant. Sting vs taker. I mean the list goes on and on and on. I havent done angle vs hart though. Mainly because I can never find a good angle CAW and i just dont like using crappy caws, especially without renders. But I reckon in real life that wouldve been epic. Who knows though? Maybe we can get angle back in the wwe and do a program with daniel bryan at a near future wrestlemania before he calls it quits.

That was very nice of Undertaker to say that about Brett. Brett has had such a hard time of things with the wrestling world. @MrCODEmaster999
@MrCODEmaster999 8 лет назад
+WeeeWriter Not really-- going to WCW was the best thing for him financially given that he was paid very well and worked less hours (even though he wanted to give much more to the company). The montreal screw job was the fault of the rigidness of WWE for not knowing that Bret would have given the belt to anyone else in Montreal. READ: ANYONE else IN Montreal but not DX. So that disqualifies the myth that he wanted to hold on to the belt a little longer.

This is how good Bret is. Think about this. Taker said here Bret was the toughest but he had his best matches, where Taker had to 'Evolve' his style and skillset. Stone Cold, HHH and Shawn Michaels today talks about how tough it is to wrestle Taker bc of his speed, stamina, brawling style. Otherwise he'll eat you up. So Bret basically ate up Taker, who eats up all the Greats today. Bret really was a true innovator. Too bad him and Shawn Michaels hated each other, otherwise could have had a truly wonder program.

Spurfect81 I love Bret Hart. He's among my top 3 or 4 all time favorites, but I think to say Shawn Michaels is way overrated is not reflective of real wrestling fans or of wrestlers or experts who know the business. Michaels won PWI's Match of the Year award a record 11 times. While the argument can be made with some legitimacy that PWI functions from a kayfabe perspective, Dean Malenko earned the #1 spot in the PWI 500 one year.

We're each entitled to our own opinions, of course. It is a relief though to know that a magazine is run by journalist as opposed to pizza delivery guys. However, I do have to disagree with you in that the magazine is helld in high regards in the business. While it is kayfabe for the most part, it is not "closed universe" like the WWE magazine. It acknowledges wrestling companies and their wrestlers from the small independents up to Japan, TNA and WWE.

Undertaker, Stone Cold, Mr. Perfect, 123 Kid (Sean Waltman), Davey Boy Roddy Piper all had some of their best match against Bret. I would say Kevin Nash also had some of his best matches against Bret. Bret's psychology in the matches coupled with his in ring ability & style make for a more believable match IMHO. Bret had an ability to make anyone he was in the ring the ring with look like a million bucks regardless of whether their ability was on par with his.

Bret is better than all those wrestlers mentioned by the score. Bret is the best worker and he is better than Benoit, Dynamite Kid, Shawn, Hennig and Owen. All those guys r great wrestlers. But Bret can have a great match with anyone the others cant.

I remember reading articles that when Undertaker heard he was going to be working with Bret he basically said "finally, I get to show people what I can really do in the ring", because prior to that Vince kept putting up against the "monster of the week" characters. For as cool as his character was, it really limited what he was able to do in-ring. The first like 6 years of his career was zombie Undertaker doing a bunch of punches and kicks. Didn't really see him as a good wrestler until '97 or so.

Diesel, Undertaker, Sid, Davey Boy, Austin… these guys showed they could WORK because Bret set the board. Bret was special and a lot don’t see why… but in short, if you beat Bret Hart in the squared circle, you were over with the crowd. If Bret beat you, somehow you went over with the crowd. I can’t think of another star who had that kind of magic. Shawn didn’t even want to put over Austin who was white hot at the time and had to be threatened to drop the title… man is not made of the same stuff.

Some of the best when he wasn't crying about something. The whole "Cry Baby Bret" thing they had going before Bret left was actually fucking spot on. Even Flair said Bret WHINED about the screw job for years.

Well Ric Flair is also known as two-faced guy. He said, for example, on the last WCW show that it was the best wrestling promotion with tears in his eyes. And then when he joined the WWE he said he couldn't wait to leave WCW. So I wouldn't take Ric's word for it. He's kind of crazy sometimes. Pro wrestling is extremely competitive and guys will always try to make themselves look better than the next guy, it just comes with the territory.

Shawn Michaels was labelled the greatest in ring worker which means his style of wrestling covers a lot of the ring during the match with the offensive moves he had . This should not be used to rubbish Bret Hart's wrestling ability. Benoit changed his style from a high flyer to a technical wrestler in making the transition from a cruiser weight to a heavyweight and influenced by Bret Hart and Dynamite Kid

Wrestling is all about 1 look 2 mic skills 3 wrestling and I feel bret hart was a 9.5/10 wrestler he made it look real and was smooth. He was a 6/10 on the mic at best maaaaaaybe 6.5 and he was a 7/10 look. Bret, kurt angle were the best "wrestlers" ever. Ric flair is the most overrated wrestler ever. Bcuz he was around since forever even before hogan, ppl think he's great. He's good at best.

Undertaker for me, one of the most scary Wrestlers who ever stepped into the ring. Watching Undertaker walk on the top ropes like a cat, and the dude is over 6' 9" and around 247lbs , this is amazing. Undertaker vs King Kong Bundy was a heck of a match, I thought this is it, King Kong Bundy the new champ, this doesnt happen and Undertaker goes on to win.
