I love to imagine an enemy went all out on their special attack that could potentially destroy a whole city just to see Clover casually avoiding it by standing in 0.1 centimeter gap
for phase 2 in the star attack just dash through the stars when they get near you, it's kinda hard to pull off but if timed right it's free damage to her, idk if you beat her already but hope this helps in the future.
"Undertale yellow is so difficult" Mfs who forget about the fact that there is better armor and fight axis with the Safety jacket like a dumb idiot (me).
@@lemons38 3 damage reduction is not "slight" pal. It completely trivializes most of the fights actually. Pair Easy Mode with good knowledge of acquiring armor and you can go almost anywhere taking 1 damage
@@PeterBoyMC that only goes for pacifist bosses and normal enemies, which should never give you trouble, for zenith and geno ceroba tho it gives so little that it's not worth to go with it
@@lemons38 ??? For Ceroba you can basically tank white attacks because with the Steel Buckle and Easy Mode white attacks only deal 1 damage, so you only have to learn how to not get hit by red. Is that little?? For Zenith Martlet, pair with the Golden Bandana, and her attacks go from 9 to 6 damage. Simple maths, you can last 5 more hits. That's pretty noticeable. I beat both of the bosses second try with that alone. For Delta Rune Patch, from 11 to 8 damage, that's an extra 3 hits when you do the maths. It's still difficult but you can pretty much get the job done in a few tries anyway
in spampton neo’s grand finale attack, when he’s blowing the air bubbles, you can stay in one pixel at the middle left of the battle box and just keep firing without getting hit
definitely harder than undertale, but id say it's still easier than a touhou game for example, which tend to be relatively easy for bullet hell standards
There's also the mop robot'a spray attack where I figured out going to the bottom right corner just outright nullifies any attempts of it hitring you. This wasn't even a hard-to-find cheese, I discovered it on complete accident.
Still taking damage to Ceroba to say that she is still a geno boss. 😅 But seriously, the blind spots in Undertale Yellow are pretty funny, even the one on Ace's cards.
As someone who has not touched this game, after seeing so many clips of people just sitting in one spot to completely avoid everything, I can only assume this was intentional and that there is some kind of lore thing going on about it.
Axis actually made me stop playing for a while until the red and Yellow mod for the original UT was launched and i needed to finish the game só i could see spoilers
I got stuck on the snake in a vase enemy because I couldn't figure out how to spare it, which lead to me realizing one of its more difficult attacks has a blind spot in one of the corners. That made it a lot easier...
I remember the developer for "Bad Monday Simulator" finding one of these in his fangame, and joking about an update where , If it detects if you're sitting in that corner, It drops a nuke that instantly kills you.
lasso attacks in the beginning hold up. starlo? I forgot his name but he ties your soul. 2 attacks in the beginning (or even more) could be avoided by just holding up.
I'm less concerned about the attacks that can be cheesed and more concerned about the ones that are literally unreactable I've been playing through for the first time, using the Undertale Yellow Together mod, and there have been plenty of attacks that the only way either me or my friend have found to dodge them was guessing where they'd go next.
I'm pretty sure I accidentally found one of these for the ice crab dudes, where you could stand at just the right point in between the 2 claws for their attack where they couldn't reach, but I can never recreate it since the first try
