Boston picked up free agents and SIGNED free-agents. Lebron left his home team and talked Riley into signing Bosh. Wade was already there. Yeah, Pierce is often a fool, no lie there but he didn't form a superteam to beat Lebron.

That tells me you have not watched much Denver basketball. Denver has not played close to what their best is. Murray has been trash every game who is their second best player. Denver only won those 3 games because Michael Porter has played big in every game including last game.

AD had four free throw attempts on 17 fg attempts. One of which came on a defensive three seconds on Denver. Jokic had 11 free throw attempts. So Lebron and AD combined for 40 fg attempts and had 6 free throws attempted between the two of the. Jokic had 20 fg attempts but 11 free throws. How is this possible? The lakers absolutely dominated the paint 72-52, but shot far fewer free throws. Just doesn’t make any sense. Will see if that carries over….

Denver didnt expect the lakers to have some fight in them. It was the element of surprise so their mentality was not in kill mode. This game would be different because they not going to be complacent
I don't think it's moreso a Denver better than a Lakers thing. All year long we've built leads against teams early and still lost. We just can't finish games.
LAL can still make a series out of this if Game 4 becomes a trend for Denver. Aaron Gordon played really well through the first 3 games but reverted to the type of guy that got him traded in Game 4. Could just be a blip but if Jamal Murray continues playing like he has so far in the playoffs (35% from the field and 30% from 3pt) they cant afford Gordon to be anything less than fantastic. That said, Jamal Murray needs to step up. He has this repuation as a playoff killer but has been terrible so far.
I actually think the Lakers learned to settle down a little, stop going 100% for 2 quarters and gassing out. Just stay calm and consistent in the first 2 quarters and turn up the gas in the 2nd half. They weren't going all out in game 4 1st half like they were the first 3.
