It's not too late for Jesus to save you out of that sin.
Yes. When we tried to abolish slavery, satan was at work confusing the masses. When we tried to implement diversity programs to give everyone an equal chance to succeed, satan was at work. This is not a lukewarm church, but apostacy. We are witnessing Biblical prophesy coming full circle, that in the end times, we would see apostacy like this, as sexual depravity skyrockets. I do not want that for anyone, and I plead every day for the Lord to open the eyes of those lost, that more could be pulled out of the fire before they are consumed.

After baptism, Sunday School for years and confirmation then years by the score of membership, attendance, committees, teaching, facilitating, leading and bible study, my church did this quite a few years ago and I immediately sent them a FAX announcing my resignation from membership. They didn't even have the decency to acknowledge my letter. Haven't heard a word from them in years and haven't attended services or made a donation since. All this just proves to me that Christianity has become a CULT. I still wonder though if they ever sat down to calculate just HOW MANY members they'd lose compared to how much they may gain with this political folderal.

@dcummings1476 Yes, I concede that honest repentance is the way to salvation and redemption through Christ. However, what I take issue with is that the passage is more often brought up whenever it's concerning homosexuals, forgetting that the church has had pastors or/and priests who have been swindlers, greedy, sexually immoral, adulterers, idolaters (especially orthodox and catholics), verbal abusers, thieves, and habitual drunks. Some have repented and are still allowed to spread the word of the Lord. How are they different from homosexuals who denounce their lifestyle and are only seeking to redeem themselves by spreading the word of the Lord? I completely agree that a homosexual that basks and celebrates his or her lifestyle shouldn't be preaching, but the ones who truly are committed to lead others into salvation and give their testimony to keep away from the homosexual lifestyle and sin, shouldn't pay the price.
@tiffanyjames7150 I understand what it means. It is the way that it is more than often insidiously utilized which I find distasteful and hypocritical, hence the sarcasm. I apologize to all if it came across as disrespectful. I did address the reasoning behind why I said this in my reply to the OP.
oh people be careful of the laws of God. lesbian and homosexuality have no place in God laws.there are forbidden by God Almighty.how can You follow someone who are openly defying the laws of God
The Bible is not clear, its meaning is up to interpretation. There are scholars who spend their lives trying to figure it out and most can’t agree either. They argue about this very topic. People will say that this is sin, but they don’t know that for certain, they have to have “faith” that what they believe is true. Their priests could easily be lying to them and making them sin. Of course there is no mercy for misinterpretation, if you sin, you go to hell. Forever. Or do you? You have no idea.
Whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. In other words, don't live in a hate-filled bubble. If you don't like someone, or can't handle them, leave them alone.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT) For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.

God is infallible. God does not need our help. Many call upon us to hate our neighbors as enemies. Only one calls upon us to love our enemies as ourselves.
@benevolencia4203- “God does not need our help” but He did leave instructions. Mathew 28: 18-20 NASB [18]“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19]”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, [20]teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” “The laborers are few” Matthew 9:37
@@dcummings1476 responding to your comment. As you say… We are instructed to practice, and teach others these things by our example, not mandate them by secular government upon our neighbors. @@benevolencia4203 cursed damnation is the part of truth that you must include, as Christ died to keep you from it….if you believe on Him and turn from your sin. Ignoring it is sending people to hell. Christ is the way, the truth, the life. You must tell truth.
This is good for those LGBT Christians who want to belong however, Bigoted congregations across the USA have split from the UMC and formed their own anti-LGBT denomination. As a gay man confirmed in the UMC at age 16, I stopped attending in 1988 due to the attitude of the clergy and members against my sexuality. Now, the two UMC that were in my Indiana rural suburb have both left the UMC including the former UMC I was confirmed in. I did remain a Christian after being rejected by my church for 30yrs. However. Due to the consistent bigot attitudes of Christians against Gays I no longer believe in God or in Christianity. I found myself unable to keep faith in God with the hatred shown by Christian organizations, it's institutions, and it's followers who use God as a platform and foundation to hate people like myself and further condemn me to hell for eternity. I've been shown by example, no reason to desire to be part of that ideology or religion and belief in God included. 😢

Being brown and being gay are completely different. When I found Jesus Christ, He took my gayness away, but I'm still brown. God made people of all colors, but not sexual orientations (that comes from satan).
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God created different “races” of humans. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God created different “sexual orientations”… nowhere. God made them male and female- Genesis 5:2 Different “races” of people as we know them today came through the flesh of sons of Noah and their wives. Different “sexual orientations” came through the flesh, and the MISTAKES of mankind by being disobedient to Gods design, purpose, plan of a union and a covenant between a man and a woman and his warnings against sexual immorality and homosexuality. God did not make a mistake, mankind has by giving in to the lusts of the flesh. Read 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 NASB. These will be no part in the kingdom of God. They need TRUTH, REPENTANCE, DELIVERANCE, and the POWER OF GOD in their lives. Homosexuality came through the Flesh through the mistakes of mankind.
They are hurting people. And no, they are not good. The Bible says that no one is good but God. Sin looses demons. Demons cause death. They ARE hurting people! God bless you❤
Luke 6:31. It's a good day when we put our bigotry and biases and small petty hate aside to share God's love as a family. Matthew 7:12 - Literally the core tenets of Christ's message. A damned good day for the church.
Love the way you referenced a Bible verse and cuss word in this comment. So sorry….you are not telling that to God…church is not Him. Talk to Him about your comment and see if you get a warm fuzzy from Him.
As far as Christianity has gotten from the teachings of the Messiah, it’s nice to see a Church returning to love, instead of preaching hellfire judgement and gnashing of teeth.
Judging by the majority of the comments here, yes, it seems they do wish to return to puritanism. They keep citing Corinthians as if, the majority of Christians are living the hard core old testament style, when they aren't.
Shovel-om7kn- Jesus Christ was the one that preached hellfire, weeping and gnashing of teeth (Mathew 8:12, 13:42-50, 22:13, 24:51, 25:30). Is it really “far from the teachings of the Messiah”? In fact, Jesus taught of hell and the consequences of sin more that any one else anywhere in the entire Bible. Love without TRUTH is not love. It is deception, and Jesus knew it and taught it.
@dcummings1476 He did. However, Jesus's main focus was salvation and to redeem sinners, not shunning them away at every turn with constant threats of eternal damnation. People today are so hellbent on hating the sin along with the sinner, when it is the total opposite of what Christ teaches. Why instead of citing Corinthians, you didn't start by citing John 3:3 on your previous post, which is also the truth? With all due respect, the way you have commented gives the impression that you are a very unwelcoming judgemental Christian, which is very unchrist-like. If you do enjoy reminding people of hellfire constantly, then why not revive puritanism? This is why many people turn away from the faith, because of the hypocrisy of certain members within the church that like to cherry pick and weaponize Bible quotes whenever it suits them, verbally abusing others by citing Bible verses to justify many things and veil their disgust for other people. Yes, Paul the Apostle was very on point on what he said. That being said, may I remind you, since you previously cited Corinthians to let people know your stance on the issue of this video, that not only homosexuals whom do not repent will not inherit the Kingdom of God, but also verbal abusers as well. God bless and I will pray for you so that Christ can take away whatever darkness remains in your heart.
Jbarahona623- I am truly sorry if you have had previous encounters with others that misuse scripture, or have hate in their heart towards others. That being said, to answer your question. “Why didn’t I quote John 3:3 in my original comment?” The reason is as I read through the 70 or so comments at that point from the publishing of the video no-one had posted it or referenced it throughout the entire comment thread. There was a lot of “I feel this way, and I feel that way” but no Bible. So… I contributed a verse. I added nothing to the verse and took nothing from the verse. I added nothing to the thread till your reply to me. The answer to your next question… “ if you do I like constantly preaching hell fire and damnation” ? No. No I do not. But it is a part of Christs ministry that should not be overlooked. Again, I am sorry if you have been offended by people with hate in their hearts misusing scripture. I stand on Christ the solid rock in my comments. I stand on His words (I Timothy 6:3) I stand on the recordings of His apostles. I thank you for your prayers and I will pray for you, that the Lord reveal any judgement, preconceptions or misconceptions you may hold over others in your encounters. I have seen the church, and those that claim “God” -in their sin- ( and various, not only homosexuality. But this video posting is centered around homosexuality) I have seen this pride openly displayed. An open covenant with sin cloaked in the “love of God” God is Love. Yes. But Jesus said. “I am the way, the TRUTH and the life” and “no man cometh to the Father, but by Me. Love without Truth is not love. It is deception.
