@@lordgarion514 What I said is still valid. Thanks America for going to war 3 years after it started. In 1939 no one could defeat Germany. It took several years of building the vehicles, weapons, and armies necessary to finally be able to defeat them, with several countries allied, including the Russians. By the way, Russia was in a pact with Germany at the beginning of the war. So all of the German war effort was on the western front, and only the French and the British fought there. In 1944, that pact had been broken, and the Russians fought on the eastern front, so 80% of German troops were on the eastern front. The allies fought only 20% of the German army on the western front. Unlike the fresh troops with high morale of 1939, the German troops of 1944 were tired, too old or too young, with low morale, and again, only 20% of them were on the western front. There was no German air force in 1944, something the allies on the western front didn't have to worry about.

We supplied the materials you needed and sent a few troops to help. We had no intention of getting in it to the level you were. And IF Stalin hadn't killed, imprisoned, and disappeared so many military leaders with experience, they wouldn't have had nearly as bad a time as they did. The fact is, if it was needed, America could have easily sent enough troops to do the job, and most of the other allies could have sent more.
