Honestly in my head I thought when he was yelling the chant the voice of Emiya would mix with shirou’s Considering Emiya is literally taking over the body of Shirou every time he traces
Also I just noticed, but shirou's last lines could be interpreted as a confession. "It's a world of infinite swords" "please keep me company until my blades run out" he's pretty much telling her to stay with him forever
I like how similar this would be to Kiritsugu Irisviel Angelica is a homunculus too and apparently her arrogance is fake and its just the gilgamesh card Kiritsugu made an emotionless Iri cheerful I can already imagine Shirou making her the same xD
Hmmm... I like the sound of your voice and I like that you styled the speaking style as if you were in combat. That was a nice touch. And while it does give a bit of "realism" to the scene, the inconsistency in vocal pitch is still a bit of a gripe. In-universe, Shirou would be in a bit of a hypnotic trance, so the UBW generally comes out a bit less desperate. Nevertheless, good job.
I honestly thought of this fight as the one that got Shirou out of his "trance" from fighting all the other Heroic Spirit Cards in that HGW as he was just desperate to stall for Miyu. Rereading the entire arc again with this in mind, I totally understand what you mean now. Thanks for the notes! My vocal consistency is still pretty wack so I definitely do have to work on that among other things
I really don't know how many times i watched this video and i think i'll watch again and again, also when Delightworks will release him on Fate/Grand Order, thinking: "mhhh... but Kirikiito's version is better!"
It will be much better if you're put some background sound (blade clashing, air being pierced, blade stabbed person body, heavy breathing, etc) . I mean your version of Shirou's voice it's good, emotion, intonation, and everything, but I felt it bit silly Shirou shouting and chanting UBW so emotionally but there is no other background voice or noise
Too emotional? I don’t know if I’m getting whooshed or not but emotional was the whole point of it. Shirou is in the middle of a life or death fight, of course he’d be emotional.
He was a bit too screamy. Archer always pretty monotone when saying it. Still better than what I could've done lol. But I guess this is Shirou saying it so he would be emotinal
