Thank You for you tips on Cubase. When you use the plate reverb as your parallel process, the switch on the send if it is in orange is post effects, right? When it is in blue is pre send, can you explain to me when do you use pre effects send please?

Hey, It is actually pre and post fader. So when I want to send signal to FX with its original volume I will do pre fader. In Cubase (12) you can actually set where the fader is located in the insert channels. So how many inserts are pre fader and how many are post. For sound design I use inserts in channel and for FX like room and reverb usually pre fader as you still can select how much signal you are sending into FX. When sending a kick to side chain I also send it pre fader so the side chain signal will not get effected with the fader of kick. Yes, blue = pre fader. Hope this helps.
