I would appreciate a little more detailed video as well. We have one of these at our local university so it’s a pretty nice machine to be starting on. Having trouble figuring out how to engrave a logo inside then cut it out with the same file. I may have to try a different file type as the previous comment stated since I get unable to split by color alarm also.

You’ll have to design by color. Preferably RGB colors. Then you’ll have to split by color in the software. If that’s not working, you may have a different issue.

About to be working on the Epilog dashboard, was that Photoshop? video on concept in PS to on wood using the Fusion pro?

I’m using Adobe Illustrator. You should be able to go straight from Photoshop to the dashboard though.

Can you split by color and a way to nest them easily?

There’s not a way to do that within the Epilog dashboard that I’m aware of. You can use SVG best to nest your design as an alternative.

I get the error message: "Unable to split this process by color. Check that there are multiple colors in this process" even though I have multiple colors. I am printing from Inkscape as an SVG. Should I be printing as a different file type?

It could be that it thinks it’s the same color for some reason or how it’s being sent from Inkscape. Try changing up the colors. I’ll have to try this on Inkscape.

@@MakerExperiment I figured it out! It just had to be sent as a PDF and it wasn’t reading the SVG. Thanks !!
