I can use dynamic lights, like movable lights for my vr projects? It's too heavy or depends on how i optimize the lighting? Thanks for the video!

I've brought my projects to a crawl just by adding too many dynamic lights that cast shadows. Maybe I am missing something though

you should keep the bloom in pp, it creates a more natural look on lights if you can set it up right

You need bloom for emissive lighting to have the right look. Also enable round robin occlusion.

Been looking for a video like this, worried about making those mistakes. Any update on your thoughts on newer versions ?

@SuperNinjaBK - Some things have changed but mostly minor things. There have been some adjustments to Post Process settings others have mentioned in the comments. I am currently working on a newer video, I just got additional VR headsets to update my content to recommend settings for most of them (Oculus, Vive and now Index). I hope to have that uploaded soon. If you have any specific questions I am happy to help.

There is no currently but it's a work in progress, our studio has just published the first formal demo with great reception, now that we have moved past the initial development stages I plan to continue the tutorials. We have quite a large amount of footage it just needs some editing!

why did you say we need a post processing volume on every map? Doesnt post process volume stress the system more? Its always lagged PC games when I have it on, so I figured it be best left out

I think he might have been emphasizing to use only one unbound post process volume, rather than dozens of them.

@@CyberWolf755 the number of volumes should not matter too much. and those volumes only affect performance if you enable certain post processing features

@@CyberWolf755 Agreed, this was the intention. The idea is an unbound volume to adjust settings such as global light exposure which is a real hassle in VR. Without an unbound volume there is no way to globally adjust and essentially disable these functions.
