Unsinkable Molly Brown House
This has been on our list of things do for a long time and we finally got around to checking it out. If you love RMS Titanic history, Colorado or Denver History, this is the place to go! Our guid was very knowledgable about Margaret Brown as well as early Denver Colorado. I couldn't fit every little detail we learned during our trip into this video. Its well worth the time to see...its a great time to visit now, the house is sporting its Christmas decorations, very period decorations at that! All money raised from ticket sales, donations, and gift shop is used to help preserve the house. Example, they just got through replacing the boiler that gave out. So everything helps!

ThankQ for this, it is beautifully presented and the scenery is very interesting to someone living in Central London. I really enjoyed your photographs of the house which showed more detail than the guided tour which I discovered yesterday. I loved the kitchen in particular showing the sink and original “ice box”. We completely take for granted our old houses, mine was built around 1850! You may enjoy watching THE PLAN TO SAVE THE WORLD by Joe MASEPOES on utube, Molly Brown would have been interested, what a lady.

I enjoyed this trip through Denver never having been in this city. Strange as this is the mix of low and high rise buildings reminds me of Halifax, Nova Scotia where so many victims of the Titanic sinking are buried. Halifax is a beautiful city and Denver also seems very attractive.

What a magnificent house. Not the mansion from the movie that was decorated all in red. This looks like it's comfortable and welcome.

The area around the Molly Brown Hotel and capitol building has so much to offer and is a beautiful area. Wish that I would have had more time and visited the house.

This is stupid ya make me go for a drive . Ya buzz passed all the beautiful houses, so I hardly see them. Ya make me sit at a light and let me observe it though. The words were written to small They were not left on the screen long enough The music was never changed, considering the length of time the ride was . Did we ever get to her house. ? I didn't I jumped out.

I have a doubt that if Molly brown was in Egypt then how could she board the titanic which is going to New York from South Hampton' route...

The Titanic started it's voyage from Southampton, England, and made a stop in Cherbourg, France, where Molly Brown boarded the ship. She was in Paris visiting her daughter when she got the news of her son's sickness, but she had travelled to Egypt in the past, which explains the many Egyptian artifacts found onboard in her stateroom.
