Thanks for commentary. Looking forward to updates and what's goign on with Bikes and if there are any good folding bikes or e-bikes from Thailand. Same thoughts on Bali Many years ago S.E. Asia and Australia were my home away from home and while I love Thailand for travel holidays I preferred living in Penang as language and culture barriers were less a challenge. If you needed to deal with government or conduct business, Malaysia was much more straightforward and even Penang used to be less of a tourist hell that you often encounter in Thailand but I remember the Equatorial heat becoming exhausting months of it. I've been looking at furnished rental properties in Malaysia, like one near my old Bunglow for under 600us are big and attractive if you are staying long term. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pkYIyI6GLK4.html Btw, have you been to or considered places like Bulgaria, Croatia, Turkey, Georgia or possibly France or Greece? With long-term immigration challenges in Asia now, and the equatorial heat in places like Malaysia and Indonesia the eastern Mediterranean and Baltic countries seem compelling on many levels but I've not spent time there.
Thanks for the comment. I do have an EU passport and can stay anywhere in Europe for as long as I care, so this is being considered, but temperatures won't go above 50 even on the Mediterranean. A bit chilly.
