I'm pretty sure the little inner fender panel you're talking about is just for reinforcement for the two bolts that go through it and hold it back against the firewall.
He’s coming this week to look at it, if he passes on it I will do another video after I do a few more things like paint the bed floor and out some tires on it
Hey Tim I have an 84 c10 long bed I’m doing 3inch spindles with 2 inch springs in the front I’m doing a flip kit in the back do you recommend doing a c notch?
You will be fine as the flip kit is all that you do. If you also use a drop shackle, you will definitely need a c-notch. If it’s only flipped it is fine unless you haul stuff in the bed then it might Kidd the frame if you hit a bump in the road but if you’re empty, you shouldn’t have any issues
