Hey James - I think a video showcasing the differences between classical philosophy and classical psychology would be a brilliant way to introduce us to your upcoming psychology videos. I often find myself inextricably binding the two together ...a video educating me on, say, the methodological differences between the two disciplines would be very useful and interesting. I know Psychology is rooted more so in empirical experiment while Philosophy is more of a mental experiment - a video detailing the way Psych uses science would be great .

Hey, nice to see from you. Heidegger wrote some stuff on art/ aesthetics. Here is a good Stanford article under this heading: “Heidegger’s Aesthetics First published Thu Feb 4, 2010; substantive revision Tue Aug 6, 2019”. I’ve read Being and Time several times, it is good. I haven’t read Husserl, but I’ve read a fair bit of Sartre: Being and Nothingness, Nausea, Existentialism is a Humanism and a book on psychotherapy.(the title is probably Existential Psychotherapy). I’m reading Jung, Neumann, Nietzsche and still reading Hobbes, and The Count Of Monte Cristo. Cheers, hope all in the future is well. Finished a book by Benatar as well. Also I need to refresh if William James.

I have not! I’ve added his ‘crisis of the modern world’ book to my Goodreads. Looks interesting - cheers!

Many thanks. Looking forward to your review of Lord if the Rings. I am still on the fence if I should read it one day 😁 In terms of 'understanding and mastering the English language' it's definitely a must I guess but in terms of message, world view and relation to real life experiences I am sceptical to get anything out of it. All the best for your studies!

I am unsure whether I will review LOTR, as it may not suit my channel's theme. As I say in this video, it really depends on how a book speaks to me. Thanks!

Sure no problem. I am sure at one point you will be able to give a fitting comment about it. I understand you are still building the channel 🙂 ps. Sorry for the late reply.

Hey there,James. Could you tell me which book of Nietzsche do you find the most fascinating and impressive?

Hi, most likely The Gay Science. Beyond Good and Evil is great too, but overall The Gay Science is his most succinct and provoking i’ve read thus far.

@@AheadOfTheCurveVideos Thanks, mate. Nietzsche is quite hard to decipher. I'll definitely read The Gay science.

Invest time in reading Jung. I recommend Psychological Types.

Jung is interesting. So far I've read his Man's Search for a Soul, Answer to Job, and his autobiography. Personally, I have a large issue with his lack of scepticism when it comes to his mystic beliefs, though I highly appreciate his work in personality psychology. Cheers.
