This worked out very well for a simple design and low cost to make the trailer more user friendly. Always ways to make work more efficient I guess. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching.
Around my building when ever it was built they didn't put in the rat guard along the bottom. I've lived here for just a couple of years and times i could hear the mice in the walls. So i put bait boxes outside and inside traps and I caught some. A few weeks ago I found on Amazon rolls of stainless steel material that I cut up in one inch wide by 4 inches long that looks like steel wool but is tougher. I went clear around the building where the ribs are and stuck in there then put extra screws in so they can't squeeze through
I'm sure that it has or will help immensely for keeping critters out. I used to hear mice in the walls too but since doing the skirting, there is very little sign of mice in the cabin now. It will always be a battle to keep things out but for now, things are much better. Always nice to get to the cabin and not see a bunch of mouse turds on the counter! Thanks for watching.
You are most welcome. I'm happy to share some of the hair-brain ideas I come up with on occasion. It sure makes it easier now out on the trails. Thanks for watching.
Same lake. They are on the far end from my place. Trailer upgrade sure helped with getting around on the trails and not beating up the equipment so much. Glad you liked the video.
