Urban Exploring: Abandoned St Thomas Psychiatric Hospital
An abandoned/vacant provincial Psychiatric facility in Ontario, Canada. This facility is joined by miles and miles of underground tunnels connecting the many wings and wards.
The best features of this psychiatric hospital would have to be the forensic unit with jail cell type rooms and 24 hour camera monitoring, as well as the double sided morgue. The dirtier side was for preparing the bodies of the dead where they would use one side of the fridge to place the bodies. The other side of the morgue fridge opened to a cleaner side where the families could come in and see the body of their loved one.
There must have been a lot of deaths in a facility like this one to warrant having a morgue such as this.
