Don’t hope! KNOW! ...know that Jesus is picking him up every time he feels like falling and even though that he doesn’t have vision, he sees the love god,Jesus and all the beautiful people who follow Jesus and god are showing towards him . God is letting jake have a sincere and happier life than most of him . Praise the lord and all he brings ! And whatever he takes is for a reason! The inspiration he brings to millions of blind children is worth more than one persons vision, and I’m not saying he deserved to lose his vision but I know god knew he was strong enough to give hope to all the millions of children who also lost theirs. ONE LOVE ONE GOD, LET GO LET GOD

His smile speaks wonders about how he lives his life. It looks like he is never willing to give up. I hope he continues to work hard. Not seeing is just one more obstical in his life, one that he is capable of overcoming.

can’t believe how strong he is the fact that at the age of 12 he had to deal with this loosing his vision this man deserves it all and great job to USC for being there with him from 09 to having him on your team and letting him fill out a dream of long snapping in a game and great sportsmanship from the other team for patting him on the helmet.

It blows my mind that we've reached the point in technology now that so many people's lives will be documented over years and years in minute detail like Jake's. Like, I grew up without the internet. It's amazing, and so is Jake.

do you really think coaches will waste a spot for him? also putting him on the line up against NFL players will be too much for him since he doesnt look like he has the strength to hold up a D line and NFL players wont be so generous like college players who didnt tried to rush

i hate it how they patronize him. let him snap for real, let the other team actually play. let jake block as well as snap. i love this kid, and he has the ability to actually play, i don't think the coaches realize how much they hurt his feelings by having the other team stand down when jake snaps.

in highschool he played snapper. he blocked. in practice he blocks, he trains like the other snapper. why do you think he shouldn't be expected to do that? a sign of respect would be to treat him like a normal person. what is wrong with you? it must be from your stupid fucking religion.
