Download it Here: www.amd.com/en... Once you apply you can close the program as this writes to your Bios. I only do auto (nothing to aggressive) to be on the safe side. Getting more aggressive may cause PC stability issues.
I did the curve optimizer, now my pc runs more stable in terms of heating as well as fans rpm. Also changed the PBO settings, decreasing the values and overclocking AND undervolting my GPU. I see an decrease of 10-15 degrees when it comes to CPU and GPU and before, my fans would randomly ramp up even when just browsing like youtube and stuff. Now it works and everything is fine. Did few test runs in Cinebench (both single and multi cores) and heaven benchmark.
Not with an Alienware pc. I optimized my 5800x, and it all looked good until I let the cpu fall into idle on all cores. Then, it fell below the minimum voltage. This is my assumption because I noticed that after a few re starts, it worked better and ran cooler. But as soon as it the last core goes idle, the pc would shut down.
7800X3D here and with Ryzen Master, the curve optimizer mode, start optimizing isn't there. I have to go through advanced mode and manually tune the curve and hit validate. Did they remove this from the software or is it just not available with 7800X3D's?
i’ve been researching if u should curve optimize and turns out it undervolts way to low to around -30 and the max undervolt recommended is around -20 magnitude at most if ur lucky i would recommend resetting bios to default as that would be were the changes would be made
u could look up a good manual undervolt for ur cpu but if it’s below 3rd gen ryzen it won’t work ti great, also if u already get good thermals there is really not to much of a poin if ur not struggling in performance a 3-(% performance increase is not to much and in some cases an undervolt actual yields negative gaming performance but most likely positive thermal performance cussing into need less fan doled to get the same thermal results as b4
dont do that Ryzen Master can offset much things wrong and you could not start your pc anymore with those settings if you wanna overclock OR undervolt do it manualy in the bios ( but think first look infos up this can damage your cpu , if you do it wrong ! )
After using curve optimizer the pc is stuck before bios, gpu fans spinning at full speed and there's orange light on the motherboard. I can solve this by force restarting the pc couple of times
You can change all the settings in the Bios. Curve optimizer must have set some of the offsets too low for stability (it's supposed to test for that first) but really it's just a GUI so you don't have to go into the Bios and set them yourself. I'd recommend rolling back the offsets in the bios. For my setup it went really aggressive at first and was stable at idle but under heavy load it caused a bsod. I ended up dialing them back to -15 on all cores (from as far as - 30) and it has been 100% stable. Ryzen Master is supposed to do this for you but I guess it's not that foolproof lol. Fwiw, only one core of my 12 caused an issue so maybe some CPUs don't have any issue
@@jas.cinemaor also, I had the same problem yesterday, my asus tuf b650 plus wifi has a bios flashback button, turned the psu off, unplugged it, held the button for about 10 seconds and turned the pc on, took me straight to the bios as it defaulted everything, and the pc booted just fine
When it restarts my pc after optimizing it on all cores and when I set it to all cores it doesn't go on it.. it's still on off mode (curve optimizer) can I get help
You can set the undervolts/offsets manually in the bios usually. This just makes it easier. Ryzen master is supposed to test out what is stable and set the numbers for you. I used ryzen master as shown in this video but I've also used it to set the offsets at a flat -15 on all cores just because it's easier than the bios and I didn't have time to run the process. -15 is fully stable on my 5900x. The appropriate way to do it would be to run ryzen master for the full duration and let it tell which cores are the best then apply the offset to each core individually. Good silicone can most likely handle -30 offset. I was able to run mine with -30 on all cores but during ai upscaling my PC would have stability issues so I ended up reducing the offset to -15 on all cores and calling it a day. Undervolting allows you to boost higher since the undervolts will help keep the heat down. Running Ryzen Master/setting the offsets will indeed increase benchmarks and improve clock speeds under boost.
@Cam3ronnn - because RM may give unstable values of each core. I have used this "auto curve optimizer" in RM before(2months ago), my PC with 5900X worked perfectly fine for 2 days, after that my PC just randomly reboot while in idle or doing some light task such as web browsing. Then, I quit using RM for CO and start manually tune CO direcly in BIOS (stable -20 all cores except two best cores -3 and -15, instead -30 all cores from RM's auto CO). Still stable since then.

I'm pretty sure the per core option is better but it takes much much longer. On my 12 core it said over a day. U ended up just doing the all core and then tweaking the individual cores manually a little bit at a time
Depending on your bios. It should be in any of the overclock tabs. Also, it is recommended to apply pbo settings on the bios instead of just using Ryzen master as there have been some reports that the app can randomly reset the setting.
also wz is poorly optimized and the wz 1 is very cpu heavy so an upgrade might be due if u want to fifer proof go with 5800x3d might have to update hours firat for 5th gen ryzen but a 3700x, 5600x, 5700g, 6800x are all competent cpus and all 5th gen cpus mentioned will give u a great gaming uplift for around a 150-275 dollar cost also ram how many gbs do u have?
All core sets all the cores at the same undervolt so what it should do is set all of the at the lowest safe undervolt for the worst core. Per core goes through and tests each core in depth and applies different undervolts. That's why on my 12 core it takes a day. I ended up doing all care and then backing off a bit on the weakest core(s) and it seems to be working great for a year now. I think I'm - 20 on most and - 15 on the weakest

And if not how much is the difference?
@akhilpawar5960 2K what? 2K resolution or 2K USD? If it's $2k US you can build a much better PC than those specs. My PC with 6900XT and 5900X was like 1600 USD 1.25 years ago. I'm not sure what the 5600 vs 12400 is but I know AMD is more efficient at the higher levels vs Intel. I know people with the 5600X that are very happy with it.
I had that app in my new laptop. 2 days ago it went bad when I dl a new radeon driver. Uninstalled the driver. Restarted, dl the app again, installed. Now it says my 6800H cpu is not compatible. Typical AMD… effing stuff up.
You are trying to optimize a laptop 😅. They come maxed out from the factory. Not a lot of room too change things lmao. Amd if you could would it even be significant? Hahaha
@@mikaelbiilmann6826 even on nvidia sometimes updating drivers aren’t necessary unless there are reportd of a hug problem, exploit, my system is just being weird if all is fine i see no reason to update from something already stable.
Is that a mobile CPU? Maybe those aren't compatible or maybe your motherboard doesn't support it. If you can access the bios you may need to enable PBO (precision boost overdrive)
Aint using this shit since I had to reset my bios as I couldnt get past windows loading circle without bsod. Ryzen 9 5900x with 360mm aio from corsair would not recommeend to fuck around with curve optimizer as it sucks got -30 on all cores and it killed system. You woould be better off to just choose game mode in ryzen masterr profiles maybe not so amazing improvement but its there from fps problems with cs2 230fps to 500 okok
Just run it on eco unless you want to completely destroy your pc, I did the optimizing thing and it heated my cpu up to 97 degrees for no reason. Piece of garbage software, warns you about warranty yet tries to damage your cpu.
You may have been too aggressive. Either way the cpu will thermal throttle itself before any damage is done. I settled on a relatively tame -15 across all cores and have been running fully stable for years now
I noticed when using ryzen master that one of my cores was less stable than the rest. I had them up to -30 at one point but settled on a flat -15 because the one trouble core would sometimes cause kernel errors and lead to a shutdown
