Probabbly one of the most intense match (if not the most) i've seen. Momochi tottaly deserved that win although Gamerbee also and i feel bad 4 him but that's life. However i thank them both for this crazy ass match ;)

im sure momochi starting to use evil ryu was because of daigo. e ryu though was very tough to play. Live by execution die by execution.

Momochi should have lost that match.His controller got disconnected.Its part of the rules you loose.Its like if you drop a big winning combo ,you don't let someone get that combo off cus they dropped it NO!! You punish them. Great top 8 I was glued to the tv

22:58 obviously he don't play ken. ken does not have better footsie game than both version of ryu and akuma. ken's only good footsie tool is step kick which deals low damage and has no combo-ability. its not even positive on block. ken's fireball has slower startup and recovery than akuma and ryu, average players may not know the difference but when ken throws a fireball he is opened to much more counter options. his focus is a joke too, slower than ryu and has lesser range. ken can never focus and crumble ryu's fireball but ryu can when done against ken. ken against adon is a joke, s.hk literally shut down all possible options from ken. momochi had to work so much harder and take so much more risks to get in. e.ryu has faster movement speed to get in, safe c.mk to fireball block strings and easy fadc into huge damage. immediately momochi performs better using a character that is not even his main.

Top gamers are selfish. Maybe the japanese though are more kind. But James Chen thinking gamerbee is just going to carry on after the pause is highly mistaken. I would say it is almost unsportsmanlike even if it follows the rules. Gamerbee should have just carried on and maybe it was that bad karma that just bit him back right away
