I've been Using a SHARPIE When Tinting Back Windows to trace out my patterns. I've also been using a Sharpie for visor strips, side roll ups and corner windows. I use a sharpie for most patterns so I can see exactly where I need my cuts to be. Using a sharpie makes you more confident when hand cutting your patterns.

I love using it, I scrap less film when using it because I know where to cut the film.

Try the Silver Sharpies man. Makes it really easy to see your outline on darker films. For anything lighter than 20% I’ll use the standard black Sharpie.

Thanks, I just bought a mulit color pack and Silver is in there. They don't seem to last as long though.

Quick question, if I already have a sun visor strip would you have to take it off to tint my windshield? Or can you tint over it?

Well you can tint over it. I give people the option. If I look at the vehicle and the visor tint looks bad I'll suggest they replace. If it looks good I have gone over them with no issues.

Hey brother.. have you ever thought of using Glass Aid? The thin tape you put around the edges so you can cut on glass safely. And it looks professional. White visor strip? That’s a little odd. Haha And the button? Nice… hope you have a video on that. SUBSCRIBED. Love following you and Detroit Tint Studio. He’s pretty damn good too.

I used it for a while and it's a nice product. When your doing a lot of vehicles I run out and have to keep ordering it and that tough. I just use a button so I don't cut on the glass.

Question @5:36 why don’t you cut it out first before you wet it getting it ready for the reverse roll. I would think that after you removed the liner to wet it the lines won’t line up exactly. No trying to be a jerk I just wondering because I don’t know

I used to use a button. This is more to see the line without needing a light and trying to find the line to cut around.

@@RubenTntz_ oh that… I have no clue. I know some guns come with extra in the box. I’ve burnt myself to many times with a Wagner. Haha And I just started tinting.
