How do I save my settings after I manage to custom my knobs in FLEX? When I open a new project everything is reset.

Have you created a Custom Mode using Components and saved it to your FLkey hardware, as shown here? Creating assignments within FL Studio using 'Link to Controller' will temporarily bind software parameters to the hardware control for that particular FL Studio project.

So in custom mode is it possible to open up to studio file browser. And or things of that sort?

Not quite. Using Components, you can decide what kind of Note, Control Change, Program Change and Keystroke values are sent from the pads, pots, faders and buttons. If you would like to create additional software controls, you could use the Custom Keystroke widget to assign keyboard shortcuts to the pads that you can trigger from FLkey - www.image-line.com/fl-studio-learning/fl-studio-online-manual/html/basics_shortcuts.htm components.novationmusic.com/flkey/custom-modes/new

If the FLkey is idle for five minutes, it enters 'Vegas mode'. In this mode, colours scroll across the pads indefinitely until you press a pad, button, or key. To turn Vegas mode on and off: 1. Go to the Settings Page by pressing the 'Settings' button 2. Use the ▲▼ buttons to go to Vegas Mode. 3. Press the Page ◄ ► buttons or the first two Pads, the screen displays Vegas Mode: On/Off.
