The problem is that at supersonic speeds when a bomb is released it's body can generate enough lift to go up and hit the plane. iirc USAF dod some tests and it ripped some parts off a Phantom. Tho one could mount the bombs ABOVE the wings, but... you'll need to either push negative Gs to not hit the ground, or hit the dive breaks to get slower than the bomb and then pull up. Also the bombs wouldn't be accurate unless the are somehow guided since they will be flailing around on the way down. I'd like to Messier try tho

@@the_drunk_balalaika60 I have maybe a few ideas the bomb could be shaped like a football and have a special container that either launches the bomb and falls off the plane or just launches it out and then the bomb could spin making it more accurate or going into something more less realistic it could shoot a rope with the bomb and a parachute attached so the bomb just slides down the rope but that would make the dive bombing obsolete that idea could be a plane within itself and going back to what I said earlier the idea of having a bomb inside a container that would go fast would be cool because it would be three sperate explosions the planes going super sonic first (it would probably be high altitude moving slow and only go super sonic when diving) the bomb getting launched and because of the shape and speed it's being launched from the bomb would also go super sonic creating another explosion then the bomb actually hitting the ground and the plane would probably have to pull a special maneuver similar to maybe a cobra to make the bomb come out and to be fair i don't fully understand its just a idea butt feel free to point out errors because iv been thinking of something like this for a little and would like help making it as realistic as possible

And another thing about accuracy (I don't mean to be rude) but with how fast the bomb would be going it's would probably create such a huge creator from the speed itself it probably wouldn't have to be super accurate maybe used for bunker busting or destroying roads bridges convoys something similar but please point out anything wrong I would love to work it out with someone who understands more than me

Its less about the leading edge and more about force transfer through the fuselage. You'd need a full steel chassis, and possibly make the aircraft too heavy to fly.
