@@austinbishop7430 He’s trying to take Masvidal’s Money lol. What Masvidal did to him Traumatized Colby. Colby does all his antics for the Octagon. He’s not a street dude like Jorge. Jorge doesn’t care.
@@abrahamgonzalez8270 Rightfully so, being a fighter doesn't mean you should expect to be jumped in the streets. Masvidal had his chance and was a failure as usual, it should've ended there.
This will go down as one of the greatest rivalries in UFC history, elite buildup and razor close fights that are wars from start to finish, who wouldn’t want to see a trilogy.
These fighters couldn't be more evenly matched. After one of the greatest title fights in MMA history in their first fight, this one may be even better. I score it a draw after Usman's 10-8 in round 2, and Colby winning 3-4-5. Huge respect to both warriors! Such a shame that Bitchbred Masvidal had to sneak attack sucker punch Colby and possibly injure him permanently.
Thanks for posting the whole build up ! This rivalry is going to go down as one of the most hilarious, intense matches, and I’ll always pay to watch if they ever fight again . They both bring it . Big fan of both
Honestly think colby won rounds 3,4, & 5 . He wasn’t dominated by any means . But i also think the damage and blood swayed the judges to give it to Kamaru
Honestly i thought colby won 3,4 and ,5 but it was such a razor thin banger it could of went either way. maybe we will see colby again soon his pace and pressure is undeniable he should of started round 1 with the same energy he had in round 3
And he doesn't also talk in a weird toned down dramatic voice & also doesn't do questionable race based limitation in not fighting "fellow Africans" in different weight classes (despite no other race of fighters doing this ever). Glad both him and Izzy are gone from the champ spots.
Usman has always been humble, it’s not wrong to say you’re the best and go out and prove it while dominating your favorite fighters. All respect to Leon he won fair and square with a perfectly timed head kick but to say Usman wasn’t humble is crazy. Nothing wrong with self belief & confidence. Can’t win em all tho !
By “his mind” do you mean Kamaru Usman? Haha.. jk.. he’s one of the best welterweights ever… also, he isn’t particularly big for the division so i bet if he dropped down to lightweight he’d just dominate.
@@DmyBy and it’s “sounds” not “looks” like his voice…. Seems like you need to go back to school kid and start the 1st grade all over again😂😂 while you’re at it do some research on fighters so you don’t make mistakes like this one again okay child?
@@jdavis54 dude why are you so defensive lol. this dude was asking a genuine question and clearly doesnt speak english as a first language. no need to be an asshole
16:17 “You want a question take 10 push ups .. You …. Fl..abby butt.”when I heard him talk to John like that it kinda made me happy John really needs to lose weight on that chin alone.
I just rewatched Colby Usman 2, and I really think it was a draw. Round 1 was 10-9 Usman, Round 2 was 10-8 Usman. Rounds 3-5 all seem to be 10-9 Colby. Usman really slowed down after the first couple rounds. Whichever judge scored it 49-46 Usman was on drugs and should be fired.
The right two guys whose styles were simply curated to fighter each other. Almost opposite in approach and dissimilar in attributes but it's like watching art when they fight. It's so Batman and Joker when they perform.
honestly i wouldnt mind seeing them go at it for a 3rd time. both fights were entertaining. maybe they fight for a number 1 contender spot while Khamzat and Leon go at it
now that Usman isn't champion anymore it kind of has to happen but now after Edwards-Usman there will be a trilogy this year from those two regardless if there's a belt or not.
I wish Colby would just stay active, dudes not getting any younger and is pissing his prime away , the ufc is so much better when Colby is around he's a born entertainer
100%. He is still suffering serious trauma from Bitchbred Street Trash Jorge's sucker punch street attack. May never be the same again. I hope he makes it back still at his athletic peak.
he doesn't want to fight unless its for the belt, or against an easy opponent like masvidal, shame that once people get to a certain point they're scared of losing the top contender spot
No lie I rewatched your video “Covington vs Usman 1” a few days ago and last night I was literally searching to see if you had made this video yet. Crazy that it’s posted just hours after I was looking for it. Strange world
one of the best rivalies we have seen fight 1 and 2 were really close and competitive can't wait to watch colby vs leon and maybe see this trilogy one day.
@@JackGlockyy he got hit by much more impactful shots in round 5, how he won the round 5 ? I think because of he was pressuring colby, it creates illusion like he was winning the round.
Colby was definitely robbed a minimum draw. 3-2 and then you have to look if 2 knockdowns across an even round make it a 10-8, which arguably they could.
@@JackGlockyy He did not do more damage in round 5... He was running to uppercuts in round 5. He lost round 5 based on scoring criteria. You would have better arguement to give usman round 3 than round 5...
If that was the case then Usman won round 2 10-8 which would’ve made the fight a Draw, which would’ve been the best result cause it would’ve given us a 3rd fight
@@Snotzalotz I know they announced Colby and Leon. But I put money on it we will get Usman Covington 3 eventually. For a title or not, those two always throw down ✊🏻
Crazy how at one point these two were at the top of the WW division Dominating everyone. Ik you could technically say that they are still on top, but it really does look like they are on decline in terms of both of their respective careers especially with these new young monsters coming like Khamzat and Shavkat. Still both of them are amazing fighers. I'd say the 2nd and 3rd most skilled fighters in WW history.
Colby has never dominated WW so far. Still, he has a decent chance to prove that the CAN dominate it against Khamzat and Leon. But looks like he's not much interested.
@@theoriginsxv6765 yea he really hasn’t fought anyone recently that really gives him credit for being at the top. He beat a group of has been’s and lost to the best
@@theoriginsxv6765 It's not that Colby isn't interested, he sustained serious trauma from the Bitchbred Street Trash Masividal sucker punch sneak attack. When is Bitchbred going to jail?
@@pizrux6592 Did you not read my comment? I said they WERE at the top. Colby dominated ww and fought everyone from 2017-2020. In those times, He and Usman were at their primes. Lately both have fallen off with inactivity and losses. That's why I said they have been on the decline.
There’s NO DOUBT Covington won rounds 3,4 & 5 NO DOUBT & the Crowd knew it too! Round 4 was his best round, Usman was saved by the bell, doing the chicken dance. Covington the natty Champ 🥇 💪🏻 🇺🇸
Funny thing is, there was a lot of questions After their 1st fight due to it being so close & competitive. 2nd fight was supposed to answer those but ended up leaving us with even more questions then answers. Either way, Great performance, comes back to 50-44 & a soda Masvidal. I want to see him either fight Leon (which he wins that fight all day) or fight Chmiev (Will be a tough fight but Colby is the worst matchup for Kamzat) either way, we’re gonna hafta wait until the court judgement in the Masvidal hearing. I can picture Coly walking into court with crutches & a neck brace 😂😂😂 gets his 2nd payday off Masvidal. Can’t wait to see him fight again!
This fight will be remembered as a decision that was a gift to Usman that should of went to Colby, just like the Jones vs Reyes fight. But here’s the thing, looking at their following fights, Colby literally has the best performance of his career via 50-44 & a soda vs Masvidal. Usman on the other hand got sent to the shadow realm, he suffered a career altering KO, he was literally stiff and out for a long period of time. NO ONE comes back from that the same, NO ONE. Even if Usman can hold Leon down for 25 mins, the Aura of Invincibility is gone, everyone knows once it happens, it can happen again. Usmans confidence Won’t be the same either. In a 3rd fight with Covington (Colby had Usman doing the chicken dance and of round 4 and also hurt him with an upper cut that wobbled him, they fight again Colby will get to him) he loses. Colby getting cracked by Usman with shots that knocked everyone Else out, showed everyone how good his chin is and how great his recovery is. He’s extremely durable, it’s the opposite for Usman. In the end Usman won 5 championships, he’s not even in the conversation for GOAT of either the sport or the division. With Jones winning 14 Championships & GSP winning 13 Championships in 2-divisions (fighting clean) shows you how special these 2 fighters were. I don’t see anyone who comes even close, in the past or future… well there is Bo Nickal
Colby won this fight . I thought he did when I watched it live and I do after watching this . 3-2 Colby . At absolute worst it should have been a draw if you gave Usman a 10-8 in the 2nd
UFC fight stats Usman vs Colby 1, Significant strikes Round 1: Usman 34, Colby 39 (Colby +5) Round 2: Usman 40, Colby 41 (Colby +1) Round 3: Usman 29, Colby 8 (Usman +21) Round 4: Usman 35, Colby 36 (Colby +1) Round 5: Usman 37, Colby 19 (Usman +18) Total: Usman 175 of 360 (48%) Colby 143 of 395 (36%) Knockdowns Usman 2 Colby 0 Broken Jaw Usman 0 Colby 1 Colby barely outstruck Usman in the rounds he landed more. Usman out struck him by a much bigger margin in the rounds he landed more. Usman was much more accurate and dealt significantly more damage. Usman barely had a mark on his face, Colby had a broken jaw, his face was bloodied up, and he was TKOd. Most likely Colby fans think he did better than he really did just because he threw more volume (but landed much less). And Colby was *losing the decision* anyway. It was 3-1, 2-2, 1-3 heading into Round 5 and Usman would have got a 10-8 in the last round even if they didn’t stop the fight, giving him a majority decision. And it was a good stoppage. Whittaker was in the same position (face down, hands covering the side of his head) in the rematch with Romero, and Dan Miragliotta gave him a warning to actively defend himself. Usman vs Colby 2, Significant strikes Round 1: Usman 17, Colby 13 (Usman +4) Round 2: Usman 36, Colby 19 (Usman +17) Round 3: Usman 23, Colby 21 (Usman +2) Round 4: Usman 23, Colby 33 (Colby +10) Round 5: Usman 24, Colby 21 (Usman +3) Total: Usman 123 of 293 (41%) Colby 107 of 281 (38%) Knockdowns Usman 2 Colby 0 Usman outstruck Colby in 4 of 5 rounds and did way more damage. Again, Usman barely had a scratch while Colby’s face was busted up, bloodied, and bruised. And the judges didn’t even give Usman a 10-8 for the 2 knockdowns in Round 2. If anything, Usman should have won by an extra point on each scorecard. Across both fights, there’s no criteria by which Colby was “close” to beating Usman. He never had him seriously hurt. The most damage he did was wobbling Usman for 1 second at the end of Round 4 in the rematch. Colby has 1 finish in his last 10 fights, a Round 5 injury to Woodley on a 2 loss streak. He was never in a position to seriously hurt or finish Usman. Colby fans are like when Diaz fans celebrated wobbling Leon for the last minute of the fight and ignoring that he decisively lost otherwise. Except Colby only had Usman slightly wobbled for 1 second at the end of Round 4 in the rematch whereas Nate actually had Leon wobbling for a full minute. Just look at the UFC 268 octagon interview. Colby didn’t dispute the decision, admitted Usman won, and only changed his tune in the post fight presser when he got back into character. “It was his night, he had a better night.”
@music channel Right because choosing not to fight a boring wrestler in a division above is somehow 'being scared'. If anything, Colby is the coward for wanting to fight a smaller guy in Dustin because he knows he can just bully him with lay and pray.
I believe Usman will be the champ again because Leon is not going to repeat imo. I honestly want to see Belal vs.. Usman and Rocky. I'm a full Colby fan since the start from wrestling and he can also get the belt if he's really going to train hard and concentrate and focus on the prize
@@garbour456yes and yes you literally do. It doesn’t take a fucking rocket scientist or a professional fighter to know what it feels like to get kicked in the nuts🤣 even through the cup, you feel it immediately. Jesus Christ are you stupid
Usmans power is the ONLY difference in these 2. His shots move Colby just enough more that he gets the decision. IMO it's a fair decision. Colby did hurt Usman a few times but Usman hurt Colby a few times... Everything else being equal meant the deciding factor was Usman just being a little more powerful and therefore winning the decision... Similar to Woodley VS Wonderboy...
Colby has grown for everyone And Im glad eveyone getting there hating from him And looking at his skills🇺🇸👊🔥🇲🇽🇺🇸 1000%🇺🇸 mfer throws many kicks and punches like crazy and doesn’t get tired. Machine 🪖🇺🇸
@@Tonyjohnson2523 well when he got downed yeah but please looking at the non edited full fight clips. It was a very close fight way closer than Jan vs ankalaev. And nowadays almost 90%agrees with a draw. And usman saying “I DOMINATED in EVERY AREA OF THE GAME” is just a blatant lie and a ego filled bs statement.
Man the fans were electric for Colby but ya gotta beat the champ definitively to take the belt. Too close (47-47) to take the belt off Usman IMO and this is coming from a Colby fan. Massive respect to both warriors!
