If the Warriors only see having the Curry/Markkanen duo for a few years, Markkanen would be available to trade away again to recoup assets pending where they want to go after Curry is done.

LeBron has shown massive interest in playing with Steph Curry, so you can’t rule anything out.
That pick is not worth it. The Warriors are trying to go all the way out for this player on Utah. And he's not even worth it. It's a waste of time if they receive him today. There's still not going to be a championship team point blank. And that's a fact, so why give up all your best young players? That's going to make the warriors so much better in the future. 41 player that ain't gonna make a difference with the warriors at all, because at the end of the day, you're going home next year, regardless

I agree he’s not worth all that Utah’s asking for, I believe they are asking for that either to indicate that they don’t want to trade Lauri, or that they want to get a Brooklyn Nets/Rudy Gobert traded for like package for a deal to be done. The Warriors have more issues to resolve and giving up the farm is not in their best interest at this point.
