I loved wht Patanjali the Grammarian had to say about gender. Or race or age or time of day. Yoga is for everyone. Did he mention hippocrisy?

Love the energy & passion of this teacher but when we were taught Utthita Trikonasana & Hasta Padasana we were told to bring one foot pointing about 30 degrees inwards before moving the other foot outwards in line with the arch of the inward turning foot. Could you please inform me what the benefits are of using a wall to align the foot? Much appreciated in advance. Peace & unconditional infinite love..

The 30 degree angle provides support which one needs when doing these poses freestanding. When working with the wall we take advantage of the feedback and support it gives and use the WHOLE foot.

bonjours, je donne mon avis suivant ma sensobilité et l'avis de Noelle Perez Christiaens, qui a pratiqué le yoga iyengar depuis 1950, il faut moins écarter les jambes et travailler avec deux ou trois blocs, plier à peu les genoux, travailler les bras sur le ventre, ne pas monter les épaules, car il faut apprendre à sentir les vertèbres se délier et bien respirer par le périmée, puis derrère les lombaires et ensuite les basses cotes et les épaules , les personnes scoliotiques et cyphotiques doivent se limiter à cette tapes, attention il faut mettre le poids sur le milieu du corps et ne pas appuyer sur la tête de fémur
