Piston powered van (8 pistons V8 Piston Engine) using 7x1 wheels, this beats the gas engine slightly in terms of Top speed if I'm not wrong (piston Power for the win baby !)
To clarify its a 0-100km/h and 0-160km/h speed test, I made a mistake somewhere in the vid

when you say it beats the gas engine in top speed (in description), do you mean the 1:2 gearing is quicker than 707 rpm?

yes, if im not wrong the tremmel gets u 724rpm which is good for 200km/h maybe im wrong but ill check later but yeah generally piston cars are faster here is a good example: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3030064713

@@DenserThanLead trammel should theoretically give 230+ kph while gas gets to 220ish, 200 kph requires just a bit over 600 rpm

@@outandabout259 also the rpm displayed gets squeed over higher rpms, thats why 300 using a 1:2 gets 724 rpm when if we use basic math when that it should be 600rpm which means the gas engine does abit below 600rpm (in reality)

From a friend of yours I believe, really good stuff btw. didn't copy it straight from his tho I did understand how to make them myself, really cool tech keeps popping up. I'm guessing Ur not in the r/scrap mechanic discord right?
