Amanda I’m making a baby blanket in this stitch and I love how easy it is and how pretty it looks . Thank you for all your nice patterns I’ve used so many of them already plus you explain how to do the stitches so easily . You have a calming voice so I’ve never felt all stressed or trying to keep up and I love how I can go back and watch again as I have many times 😂due to missing a stitch 🩷Happy stitching

This is called the granny spike stitch. I haven’t tried a beanie, but I’m sure you could always try it out to see if you like it. 😊🧶
