I can't believe how high Michael Anthony sings and that's not his falsetto. EVH said his voice range was "a range from Hell". MA has such a high and clear voice - big part of the Van Halen sound!

I do understand why there are people out there who did not like this era of VH...Sammy did an awesome job..

One thing about Eddie, he never recorded a solo he was unable to reproduce live in concert. Yes he used plenty of effects, and that's great, at least when he played live it sounded the same as the album.

Just so good. Everyone played and sang. Great music that no one makes anymore. No writers in Nahsville that say "here"s your next hit"...

I cry every time I see Eddie GOAT-shredding the pull-offs and fades. When they say "axe", he was cutting off heads with those riffs. The Music Teacher dude did a great video on this. Amazing and it gives me the chills. Saw them that year at RFK Monster's of Rock. They crushed it. But then all beer was cut off. lol

These guys were so much greater live with this line up than they ever were with DLR.

They really pounded out that tune. A lot different than back in the DLR days. This song actually had some harmonic singing and back up vocals that all sounded great!!!!

I stood 50 feet from Ed for an entire show on the MOR tour in 88. Played the 5150 guitar in Zeke Clark's hotel room the night before. Ed called when I was there and sounded pissed off. So I got up to leave _and put pick back on the tape!_ I'll regret doing that till the day I die. 😮 But a roadie did give me one of Mike's the next day.

Jack Black in the movie School of Rock always talked about face melting guitar solos.... EVH went beyond that..... he not only melted faces, he vaporized them with his guitar solos. Always always amazing skills!! He is truly the GOAT.

I simply adore how the camera cannot stay focused on two hands and the neck of the guitar for the length of one little solo, yes I want to look at his head and he's blowing out those rifts anyone who doesn't play guitar should not be allowed to operate a camera
