my dad had an scania143... we had a total load of 42 tonns up 15% hill and we passed an unloaded scaniaR620!... but everything in our morrors was black of smoke :)

They sound a lot like a Mack V8 here in the states. Do those Scanias have a jake brake?

no they have a exhaust break I very good one. and a retarder that runs on the prop its water cooled and stops you with a heavy load on without using the breaks. they are very good
