To see my other video where I go over many of the items I've added to the bike visit • 2020 H-D Road Glide Li... . For more information on these pipes visit Vance & Hines website at vanceandhines.com/products/to....
I have these slips on on my 21 Road King standard. Stock airbox and header pipes. If you listen to this video through a good pair of headphones, this is exactly what they sound like. Im not an apple fan, but all credit to your Iphone for accurate sound reproduction.
Put the Torquer 450 slip-ons on my 2019 Road Glide...the slip-ons coming off were Screaming Eagle street cannons. The torquer's were a bit louder, especially at cruise. Performance, bike was very boggy and lost some throttle response performance IMO. I put about 20 miles on them, then did an Auto Tune using DynoJet PowerVision. Didn't do much for performance so headed home, put the SE cannons back on...What a difference it made in performance from the SE's. IMO these Torquers lack the back pressure needed for my 107 M8 motor. ranted they look and sound great but the twist of throttle and feeling that torque pull is where it counts.
I have the Tourquer 450 Slip-Ons on my 2019 Road Glide Special and disappointed with how quiet they are. I am now trying to figure out whether the addition of Vance & Hines Power Duals will make them louder. I do not want really loud like the CFR's I had on my former Street Glide, but just a little more. I would say they are about 30% louder than my stock slip-ons.
At the time of this video I only changed the mufflers to the Torquer 450’s, the air intake, and tuned it using the Screamin Eagle tuner. The header pipe was stock so I wouldn’t void the warranty.
I’ve never run this exhaust with the stock radio setup. I have the BOOM! Stage II audio installed currently. I’ve sometimes found it difficult to hear the stock speakers with the stock exhaust once the speeds hit 70-80mph, so considering these mufflers are a bit louder and deeper than stock I’d say you’ll need the radio turned up a bit if running highway speeds. Obviously hearing the radio differs quite a bit if wearing a full face helmet versus half helmet. But in summary, I’d say no, this exhaust is not so loud that it interferes with the radio while touring, you just made need to turn it up a few bars. 👍
@@perrycountyposse You got it, my friend. Once I decide you'll be the first to know. I never thought it would be this difficult to choose and exhaust, especially for a slip on.
