Ahh I download videos all of the time. Nothin worse than getting buffer locked right when you're getting into it. I actually have fast Internet but for some reason pulling the video from the page is faster. So much faster when it doesn't have the page loading. Like, way faster. It's more practical to DL the video and watch it through a video player. On PC it is immediately better by simple virtue of being able to freely skip around lmao. Dunno how it is for y'all, but those sites run like garbage for me and i don't trust them, so I wanna use them as little as possible. I don't keep the files long term though.
