At the very least I was kind of thinking it’d be nice if maybe she had a kid cause then it’d be like a part of Vax still with her but that would probably make me more sad😂. I doubt it’ll change though. But who knows.

Their first kiss is the biggest thing I’m looking forward to, being a Vaxleth stan from the very beginning. I hope that when it happens, they include the classic “love bubbles” background one would expect from such a moment… followed by the others ruining the moment of course because it’d be on brand XD Also… their Sun Tree moment at the end of the arc. Only… I hope it’s done a little differently.

Yeah I like Vex fine but let’s not forget in the first episode, Keyleth made a vine fortress to keep the gang from getting crushed by boulders, all Vex did was run out of the way.

They almost did when they were fighting those zomebies but Keyleth realized they were about to during the worst time.

Yeah, let’s not forget Keyleth’s vine fortress that protected them from the rockslide. All Vex did was shout and run around.

I think shes just afraid that she wont have her brother anymore if hes preocupoied with a new girlfriend. And her brother is all she has left. She doesn't dislike keyleth, just her brothers affection for her.

@@TiaraStarbrighter eventually, thankfully, Vex realizes that it’s not Kiki being the problem. It’s herself. Because she’s not accepting of the notion of letting others in, scared that she’s just going to be backstabbed and betrayed. And she was scared that if Vax falls in love, she’ll lose him. But in truth… Vax just says it outright: she’s imagining things. Just because he’s fallen for someone does not mean he’s going to love his sister any less. Vex just needs to accept it. And trust in her brother. I’ve been a Critter since the beginning, and Vaxleth was my OG OTP. Seeing it happen once more in this animated series is just making my heart feel so warm.

Great thing about the show is they can cut out all the fat they don't need like travel montages and side quests that aren't plot important like bandits and shit

Pretty sure Vax only started expressing attraction to Keyleths after streaming started, I think Liam might have said Vaxs feelings started to develop during the underdark arc

the sound of their wings really depends on what the owl is doing. if its hunting, it's pretty silent. if it's just flying or taking flight, they can make sound.

IIRC, its a headdress. I think its a magic item, but I couldn't tell you what it was without looking it up.

Like @Gympy said, it's a headdress. But she almost never takes it off, so the rest of the crew would consistently tease her by acting as though they are in fact permanent horns. I don't know that we'll see a ton of that particular antic come up in the series, though.

They're her Druidic Focus that helps cast a lot of her spells, which is why she never takes them off

It doesn't help that there's now multiple official D&D races that have horns like that.

She is, technically, the princess of the Air Ashari and in line to become their next leader. So you could think of it as a crown. But officially it's a Circlet of Wisdom carried over from their pre-stream game. It was a relic from her mother.

I looked it up and apparently the resulting children will also be Half Elf, as Half Elves will always have the opposing race’s children if they conceive (I.E. a half elf who has a child with a full human will have human children, and likewise an elven child with a full elf).

Not exactly. Being a Twin, Vex believes Vax is the only one she can count on because everyone else abandoned them. Seeing him with Keyleth makes her fear that he'll leave her all alone.

I am, and I’m foolish for thinking that Vax would just forget about me.” That, and she’ll have to eat her own words once she starts falling for Percy.

We probably won't. It was just mentioned in the EXU and never really part of the VM story line.

There is one in Campaign 2. Just be ready to wait a long time for it. They don't rush romances.

@@litanyofwar8216 And also, Vaxleth IS essentially a queer romance, with Vax being very bisexual and Keyleth being presumably ace/demi. But yes, Campaign 2 really does deliver, and That One in particular is simply so good because it develops organically and you can tell from those involved. A true slow burn with a big payoff near the end. Hell, most of my recent fics have been about them.

Not so much campaign 1, theres two ladies who are recurring, fan favourite npcs that get together, but as for the main cast they don't go that path. One thing to remember is these characters were being played at a table, for fun, by people who are not exactly out publically as queer themselves, (other than Percys player Taliesin who is bisexual, but even he never explicitly put a label on Percy). So I guess you could say they played it safe in C1, then in Campaign 2 they're maybe confident enough to explore other kinds of relationships; the main party includes two lesbians, gender fluid pansexual, bisexual, asexual, in addition to a couple of lasting queer relationships among those main cast. Camapign 3 is yet to early to tell. But tldr, yes there's queer relationships aplenty in CR, but you probably won't see much in this animated series for a while.
