As someone who has seen bits of campaign 1 on RU-vid, I can tell people to rest assured that the ship is still sailing. I think they're combining their hesitancy from the end of the Briarwood arc with a moment that occurs in the 3rd arc so that the relationship isn't so back and forth like it was in the livestream. So when they eventually do get together I'm holding out for that beautiful talk they have when Keyleth finally admits that she loves Vax.
Honestly hope we get to see the talk with Gilmore and Vax because it really solidifies how serious vax was, especially since the sort of "rejection" wasn't as long as the campaign. (Vax telling her he lies but not about this and to not change anything is gone)
I hope to God they change their story just a bit. Make it not as sad. Maybe a little red-headed druid with rogue skills. Cuz man, if not, I just might almost cry myself to death again 😂😭
In the first episode, Keyleth said the twins only thought in themselves. And in this finale season, they were doing all in their power to save her, meanwhile Percy ( the same who said keyleth was someone very worthy on episode 4) only thought in his revenge and said she has gone. What a characters develoment.
I'm very certain that was _Orthax_ talking, _not_ Percy. Percy's a revenge-driven loner for most of this season, but he'd _never_ turn a blind eye towards his friends in danger nor just brush off any of them being grievously injured like this. Honestly, I feel like if Percy was lucid in that moment after Keyleth was cursed, Percy would just get _even more_ pissed off with Delilah and even more bent on killing her.
I don’t know anything about campaign 1, so I’m blindly following this show without knowing the plot/lore. Her rejection hurt so bad. I hope that she sees how much Vax means to her in season 2. This stung so bad. 😭
She feels the same way towards Vax but she has a reason to reject him despite that, it just isn't specified here. The truth is, when she completes her Aremente her lifespan will be extended to a thousand years or more. To let herself fall in love with someone would mean she would watch that person grow old and die before she even comes close to old age. Falling in love with someone is basically setting herself up for heartbreak, and because of this she's too afraid to pursue her feelings about Vax. This is her conflict and it will persist through the seasons.
The thing that I think really hurts me about the last scene between Keyleth and Vax is that she was listing all the reasons they shouldn't or it wouldn't be a good idea for them to be together, none of which include that she doesn't feel the same way about Vax as he feels about her. I can't help but think this was part of the reason Vex was so overprotective and discouraging Vax from perusing a relationship with Keyleth because she was afraid it would come up later down the line if a romantic relationship started or she knew how pragmatic Keyleth would be like in that last scene. Either way I'm not giving up hope that this ship will set sail or at the very least we'll see more moments for their development in season 2.
No spoilers as am a fan of the series and don’t know at all about the campaign, but omg! 😭 This hurts especially because its so clear they both feel the same (and Vax was so worried!). I was hoping she’d return the declaration but I can wait for Season 2 since I don’t have a choice, I think that Keyleth is just scared of getting too invested in Vax because she wants to complete her rite of passage (I don’t know how to spell it haha) and it would hurt to leave him behind... Come on Series 2! 💚🖤
When she's dying I almost died from how adorable it was Keyleth just REJECT DESTINY ALREADY WHO CARES AT ALL YOU LOVE VAX HE LOVES YOU THE ASHARI CAN PICK A NEW LEADER JUST DATE VAX ALREADY 😤😤
i don{t know nothing about campaign 1 but i was really invested in this ship, and then Keyleth blush when Vex compliment her and my Yuri radar exploto!! xD still im cool with any ship, everyone is so precious
I won't lie, I was more than a little disappointed that they didn't kiss. Keyleth could have at least told him that she felt the same way *sigh* Maybe in season 2... Also, 1:05 tearjerker moment!
it is for several reasons. One, she is critical of those who mess up or cause problems for the group as a whole, second, Vax and Vex spent years being extremely close and depending on one another. So when someone else is threatening upon that relationship, Vex reacts in that way because she doesn't want Vax to leave her behind.
Vex and Vax are very possessive of each other. They're each other's world, only Vax is starting to branch out and Vex feels threatened by that since she's not there yet.
I dont know original plot but wtf with keyleth and vex moment. We watched 10 episodes without it and it came from nowhere and think of it Keyleth's real crush is Vex (sibling of Vax) making more painful. I feel sad for my boi
I think is more embarrassed then charmed moment with Vex in that moment given how insecure Keyleth is. From what I heard there is a personal reason for Kiki rejecting Vax back there which will probably show us in season 2. I’m just mad they didn’t include the lines I’ve read from the campaign on to the show 😭
I also think it was more that Kiki felt reassured because Vex was constanly critizising her along the series. And since Vex is more like the leader of the team, it was like receiving her approval. Or maybe it's that I really want Vax and Kiki to get together.. Idk XD

@@Aelithe680 oh I know it’s just the end bit under the sun tree between them there were endearing lines from vax aka Liam I wanted to hear but they never appeared on the show. That’s what got me lol 😅
