I just wanted to say I really appreciate you spending the time and money as well as sacrificing yourself a bit by eating loads of fast food in one go :D I must admit, every time I see how many options there are in the US for all those days when on the road with no decent vegan places around! Great to see so many spots introducing more fun plant-based meals! . Anyways, sending both of you (and the dogs!) all the love! Stay safe and have a great end of the week!
my bf and i went to a huge coffee shop chain here yesterday and they had a vegan breakfast sandwich with the beyond sausage, plant based cheese, avocado, and everything bagel seasoning on an english muffin. i was floored that they had vegan cheese. and it was delicious!
I feel like these sandwiches are great for omnis who dont wanna spend money on a whole pack of just egg, vegan cheese, and a box of veg sausages. They can try it before they dive in to buy ingredients. All of these options look great!!!
I want to say thank you because my brother is vegetarian and trying to become vegan. I’ve been able to tell him about all the places you share. He’s really happy. So thank you for helping me support my brother♥️
Don’t worry about the birds, they aren’t as close as you to the mike, so you definitely drown out their sounds. Lucky you guys and your vegan choices! Although, I feel the world is opening up to more and more vegan options, thank goodness! I love a vegan breakfast sandwich! We have a vegan fast food place here in Ontario, Canada, called Odd Burger (previously, Globally Local). They have quite a few locations opening up, and I’ve heard whispers of U.S. expansion, so I hope you all get one. Their maple breakfast crunch sandwich is sublime…sweet, savoury, crunchy, soft…all the textures and flavours. Thanks for all the effort you put into your videos, Jasmine and Chris!🤩👍💗💗
I live in Louisiana, and we don't have those here, but I am excited about the ingredients and combinations that worked best, so I can reproduce them at home, bc we do have Walmart. Thanks again, Jasmine and Chris! ^5
Pete's Coffee is my new favorite coffee shop because of that sandwich! Also, never heard of the first place but good to know I'm not missing out. After watching this whole video, You & Chris could win a blindfolded vegan meat substitutes contest. you guys are awesome :)
For a whole I was doing Night Audit at a hotel and when I got off work in the morning I'd get a vegan breakfast sando from Peet's. Loved it. Always came in clutch.
You are both so beautiful. And it seems like you guys truly love, like, respect and enjoy each other. It’s so comforting to watch. Thank you. Honestly.
Nice Guys is always the best! I eat there at least once a week. Located in Costa Mesa and Santa Ana! PS, birds in the background is always a good thing!
Dunkn' is not the only mainstream FF that has gotten rid of the beyond meat sausage. Hardee's/Carl Jr's. also had the sausage for a bit, but have gotten rid of it. However, I think the problem with that they just didn't get it. Hardee's, at least, put the beyond meat patty on their regular buttermilk biscuit with egg and regular cheese. Jimmy Dean has done the same thing with their frozen breakfast sandwiches. DUH! Why would someone choose the beyond meat version of the rest of the sandwich still have milk, egg, and cheese? I did write Jimmy Dean to give them this feedback. Also, I had the beyond sausage, english muffin, just egg, and daiya sliced cheese sandwich this week. YUM!
Ok think the issues is that they weren't really marketing towards vegetarian or vegan people but just slightly health conscious people who were cutting back on meat products. that demographic must not have cared enough
I didn’t even know Philz had a vegan sandwich! I’ve been eating the one at Peet’s for a few months now and it’s perfect for when I don’t have time to make breakfast.
If y’all are visiting Vegas, you have to try Chef Kenny’s (bomb af Asian food) and No Butcher (sandwiches) Unrelated: i love your bodysuit! From what brand is it? :)
Nice guys is bomb!!!! I have had that breakfast burger before and I liked it, but it’s not my favorite thing from their menu, their burgers are definitely the best ones I have tried!!! Even my non-vegan friends choose that spot when we are deciding where to go eat. Lucky the Costa Mesa and Santa Ana location are so close to me.
i sadly live in the midwest and there aren’t a lot of options here for breakfast at fast food places, im hoping and praying more start to appear. all of them have eggs and cheese on it which is really annoying :(
These fast food video's are awesome even though I focus on whole plant foods it's good to have the option of fast food because there is some options in the UK I can't give up like Greggs vegan sausage rolls and vegan steak bake. Warburton's bagels are suitable for vegans and make a fast breakfast. Love 🥰 this video Jasmine and Chris and love 💕😍❤ you both and all your viewers and subscribers.
Another top vid. We are tripping to CA next month and Nice Guys is on our list! Don't they have two locations? Their options look amazing. Thanks for the content. Loved hearing the birds btw.
i feel like most of the vegan fast food yall try out would be way better if it were made with sauce or if there were good sauce options. when will companies understand this?! thank you for sharing, always!
i looooove the peets sandwich... i had it once back in may and i havent stopped thinking about it since 😭since i hadnt had a "fast food" breakfast sandwich in years it blew my mind haha
I have a very funny story about Nice Guy Vegan...which I will share on my channel, but I love your channel. Hope to be in touch with you soon about checking out our NC vegan restaurant.
Living in Jersey we are still lacking any vegan breakfast options which is sad living in 2023. There’s literally ONE place to eat out for breakfast near me
You need to try vegan junk food when it opens it used to be at diane's kitchen on foster road, portland Or. And off the griddle on the same street. Both vegan places in portland Or.
My Indian husband recently turned vegetarian. He is planning to go full vegan soon. And I am very worried about his health, especially skin and hair. When we did his blood test and nutritional analysis, it said that he is a meat eater. Looks like all arguments are falling on deaf ears, and he isnt turning back. How do I keep him healthy? Love from Turkey ❤️❤️
Not only was Dunkin's sandwich sad (like you couldn't even put mustard or ketchup on it?), it was more expensive than the other sandwiches by a lot. They even serve bagels and chose not to put it on it, even though expensive with no sauce. That's my rant about dunkin donuts that I'll never have another place to put. It's the only coffee shop in walking distance to my house.
Philz>Peets 👏 Peets was SO dry and bland. I LOVE nice guys. You should have it fresh and plz try Goodtown donuts next time your in the OC- brioche vegan donuts 🤯
It’s sometimes hard to trust your palette with how much you dislike spice… haha like how developed are your palettes when you’re so sensitive to spice? Not intending to be judge mental just wondering if you’d enjoy the same food of someone who can tolerate any spice at all
Years ago, when Jethro Kloss wrote Back to Eden, the whole idea of a plant-based, vegan diet was to have food that would be both healthy AND cheap. What happened to this idea? A meat-based burger is 1 dollar and a plant-based one is 10...and it is not even organic. That is definitely NOT the way to promote vegan lifestyle. Vegan products should be sold at a fraction of the price of the meat-based ones. No animal is cheaper than a bag of soy or rice or a bunch of lettuce or kale. And so the sky-rocketing price of vegan food is a shame.
First off, the idea of veganism is to cause as little harm and exploitation to animals as possible. It has nothing to do with health or cost, although a whole foods plant-based diet is healthier and cheaper to do than eating a meat based diet. The reason meat is cheaper than plant based products is because meat products are subsidized by the government / tax payer money. Sharing different options for people who are interested in the lifestyle is definitely a great way to promote veganism.
@@Sweetsimplevegan And why not combine the idea of human health & well-being with the no- cruelty-to- animals idea? Many more people would gladly switch to a plant-based diet if cheap and high-quality substitutes to animal based products are widely available. I do believe this is worth the efforts and voice of the whole vegan community.
