@@pr1s0n3r849 Hi, sorry for the late reply. Standard nib is titanium pretty flex and very smooth. There is also the chance to have 14k solid gold nibs on request. Best

Bravo! Keep it safe, it has been 100% hand made from Venvstas founder and it is unique. There are no two exactly equal of those series. Nowadays we improved technical issues and we enlarged the production capacity to bring our design to many more clients. Nevertheless we strive to keep the hand-made process to give our clients the same feeling of the first series had. Best regards

Hi, yes Mr Sbre Brown spent nearly 15 minutes trying to demolish the work of Venvstas founder. He criticized a model that was actually failed, instead of just simply sand it back for change or refund. A very disgraceful behavior that brought quite some trouble to one man designing, producing and selling every single item with his very hands. Would be nice to see more humanity and well mannered behavior in this world, but not everyone is a nice person like David eh! Anyhow, since 2019 we started production in one of the major Italian manufacturer in order to upgrade the design and solve technical issues that were occasionally occurring. Best regards

@@sketchstackarchive9132 Hi, this is only my opinion. You can have your own. What Mr. Sbre Brwon told you is not necessarily the truth. Actually, from the voice of the person who was creating those objects, my parter and founder, the real story is very different and they didn't end up having a plesent chat at all. Anyhow, just one question. If you are a serious reviewer why would you comment for 15 min a failed object? The only result is to ruin the manufacturer image. Full stop. On my personal point of view it has been an intentional defamation which, for me, is a disgraced behavior. In the first place he should not accept to review a failed object because there is a 2 years warranty that state that one customer can send a failed object back in two weeks time. This is what the pen owner should have done, send it back and have a replace or refund. From this point a professional reviewer should not review items that clearly failed. Mistake can happen mostly when talking about art&craft and not industrial automation.

Hi, yes we agree with you. This aspect is the only one we assume to be merely aesthetic and not really functional. For customers used to press their ballpoints it can easily be an issue. Luckily we had no complain from customers about stained shirt yet. We explain this issue very clearly in our you tube channel videos and web site to avoid any misunderstanding. Best

Please check our website for more info. Nevertheless, one can actually mount Yowo and Bock nibs on both models (only the nibs without feeder) even if this would bring to the warranty void. Thank you for the comment. Yes, we strive to push design a step forward, but we are designer in the first place. These instruments were born to sweet our own taste since we felt missing any other attractive alternative. For instance, the Designer-8 was the first design created from founder Lucio Rossi to be it's own pencil. Later on followed the fountain pens. When Rossi students at the Bauhaus School of Architecture asked him to produce some prototypes for them as well Venvstas story began. So this are advanced design writing instruments for creative users. Of course everyone has a different taste and handling style, but we kindly advise you to try them before to failed them. There could be many different answers to this questions...and they all are subjective. The EF nib on the Leonardo Momento Zero Grande is extremely smooth...for around $325.

Dear Dr. Grossman, even if I was not ceo and cofounder of Venvstas at that time, I feel very sorry to hear that. Yes I am aware that for some specific models leaking problems occurred. Please try to understand that was the very early beginning of a small atelier production made completely by hand. We had been investing time and money to find a major and skilled manufacturer to make a partnership with. From now on I can put my word that these kind of problems will never happen again. I'd probably say the smoothest I have in my collection are the medium18k nibs on the Pilot Custom Urushi, Pilot 845, and the Pelikan M805.

It's unpolished stainless steel...which has a bit of a titanium look to it.

@@FigbootonPens according to their website, the Magna comes with either titanium or gold nib. No stainless steel option. This explains your slight flex experience.

Hi, yes it can be a bit confusing, but the double V you can see in the logo has no relation with the brand name written in full length. Venvstas comes from Latin language and the second V stand and is pronounced as a U... like BVLGARI that is pronounced BULGARI. Hope this explanation has been helpful. Best

I received the info on these screws directly from the company...which caused me to do a fair amount of research into these little screws and their purpose in regard to fencing. I did find a number of different styles of these screws available on fencing-related sites, some flat-head, others, hex.

Hi, why you don't try one and then give your comment with knowledge of what your feelings are? You can buy one and send it back in two weeks if your perception were good. The finish is voluntarily rough as well as all the materials we use. We believe in valuable material kept row. This because the majority of our competitors chooses cheap metals and then uses very polluting finishes to make them shiny. We believe we all can do better for our world polluting the least possible. Use high quality materials, produce high quality objects, keep it for life... If you like it of course. Best

Actually me and my partner met at the Dessau School of Architecture nearly 10 years ago.I shouldn't say cause I am not the designer, but for my knowledge, this design have a lot to do with the inner quality of Bauhaus School. Look at first tubular chairs from Marcel Breuer for instance. In those objects one can read the relation between the material, the production method and the design prerogatives. What I can not agree with your view is the over engineering, because we actually studied all the ways to create an object with the smallest number of components and fabrication processes in order to pollute way less than our competitors. Hi. Sure, nobody has the same taste and the same feeling for design. We are open to subjective and critical comments that can help us doing better. We will create a pen that you will like eheh! Price wise we have the smallest price variation from finished product to customer of all writing instruments world. We produce hand crafted instruments made of expensive materials in Italy. Moreover, to keep price low, we take care of distribute the products by ourselves. Nine out of ten brands that tells you they produce their instruments in their own country of origin actually purchase them from Asian manufacturer. Then they sell them trough distributors so that they have to push the prices to be able to have margin. I know this very well. Our pens should cost, at least, twice as much to follow our competitors. Hi, we are working on it. First solution, which is not really, we will came out with a Magna with cartridge to avoid this issue. Prototype has been developed already. Cartridge Magna should came out by September. To find a way to block the piston head is not very simple when we want to keep the exact same aesthetics. Nevertheless, if you are an artist I really suggest you the Carbon-T (technique). It has been designed specifically for sketching and drawing. All the best.
