the fuck? are you kidding? max beat jose aldo for featherweight champion and defended his title three times before losing it. i think his legacy is well secured. he’s still young and has nothing to prove, he’s just riding out his remaining years until retirement. him winning the belt is only another notch on his belt. don’t get it twisted
Volk's GOAT claim depends on this win, he loses he's never catching up to Aldo. Then you have Max where if he loses lol he's better off fighting Chucky Olives if he wants a belt
They are both far above everyone else right now, but still the second fight needed to be Max's. (Even though, the first I've was Alex's and wasn't even close)
@@oakword3236 I did not like volk when they fought the first two times. But over his reign I began to take a liking to volk. But like he said, max is always going to be the guy for me. I think max got clearly beat the first fight but the second fight it was all max

Max acted just like this during his rise. He's just showing his true colors when he's pressured. That's not good for Volk because Max is a demon under pressure.

i just know these guys would be good friends, you can tell they have something towards eachother still probably just how much of a competitor they each are, but both super down to earth guys
Nah, Volkanovski is hyping the fight and giving Max a little giddy-up. He didn't say anything disrespectful or with an ounce of sting in it. It's even his crew uploading a great moment of Holloway getting revved.
This fight definitly has that big fight feel and is extremely important for both fighters career. I've always liked Max since day 1 but Volk is my guy right now and would love to see him cement himself as possible the top Fetherweight of all time with this win tonight.
Gooooooood ddddaaammnn, This was such a badass moment, not even listening to the announcement and going to the stage while chanting " I am th heat brother" and whole crowd going crazy. I am really thankful to God that we got a fight like this. May the best man win but u dont want a fired up max, man is a total different beast when he is angry.

The fighters aim is to trick the fans into thinking they are angry and want to fight, rather than they are just doing their job. You are the one claiming max is living in volks head, not me.
Volk, I like you a lot. Your an awesome fighter. You got the nod in the first 2 though I think it should be 1-1 right now. I feel like this fight between you two is about to be absolutely legendary. I know your both going to bring it. No disrespect to you at all so I hope you don't take it that way. But I think Holloway is going to get that title back tomorrow night. If I'm wrong then I accept that and if this time tomorrow your still holding that belt then I'll say now that they're isn't a fight left for you at 145. You should start aiming for double champ status. But if my gut feeling is right and Max wins then maybe there is an immediate rematch necessary to finally put a close to this chapter and whoever loses that fight should then leave the division and work 155. You and Max are both absolute warriors and I respect the hell out of both of you. I'm super excited for this fight. Just look at the big smile on Ivan’s face… You know it’s all entertainment… Volks threw Max a bone and they both took advantage of turning the simplest situation of waiting in the dark room, into a hype video for UFC 276… Both are absolutely true Champions, in and out of the octagon.

I just watched Volk vs Holloway 1 & 2....Volk you're lucky he didn't take his belt back in that second fight. & this is coming from a guy that likes you.
That shot at the end gave me goosebumps. Max walking through that curtain, soaking up the energy of the crowd, while Volk stalks in the shadows, encouraging Max to take it in, in the confidence that when they lock the doors of the octagon, it won't be enough to save Max. The scene is set for one of the fights of the year.
I can see why though...145ers and there are plenty of people back there to pull them apart easily, now if we were talking about heavyweights I do t think they would have them close together like that
