If you go into details about the cost for a pilot on YT; you see that they can go upwards of $100,000. But, the pilots themselves are usually 20-30 minutes long (ie TADC, Monkey Wrench, & Murder Drones; to name a few). So, being able to make a reasonable ~11 minute pilot with a budget of $50k, doesn’t sound too far fetched. Though, probably $60k-70k just to be safe…

@@SolarArkon I still think unyeah should of focused on the more character damning information if he's going to call a content creator a sicko and loser. and simply saying other content creators covered this isn't too helpful, as most I seen (Nux taku, Lesson's on meme culture, and Saberspark) never mentioned any of these things and Saberspark even to some degree defends him a bit bring up some of the same point I brought up which is how accurate is this information? both Nux and Saber even give context of how expensive an animation of this style can be, and while VerbalAse still over paid (as Nux claimed that similar animation could be paid for with 11,000 budget, while Saberspark made it sound like this could be normal, and we having even considered if he paid money for the rights to use the song in the video) but that aside all of RU-vid has experienced a decline of revenue since the end of the pandemic. VerbalAse best performing videos was during its height, that's why so many content creators are quitting or scaling back in general. the point I was trying to make was that treating a 6 month delay like this sets a bad president for content creators especially ones who work on big projects. even if VerbalAse was producing things much faster in the past that would never be sustainable there isn't a single channel on RU-vid not backed by a big corporation that's able to consistently pump out full animations on a monthly basis without some kind of filler. Not to mention his "Thanos" video came out around the hype of infinity war, he will never reach those numbers again unless he does a video on a relevant movie franchise. He certainty will never reach it with something like courage vs scooby doo, courage hasn't had a show in years and scooby doo's most recent show didn't even have him in it. its more than just a 6 month delay and its still not impossible to rebound, 20 million views is never going to be sustainable, even Cocomelon one of the largest corporate children's channels can't consistently pull in 20 million views. and that's what I'm talking about we are acting like VerbalAse channel has died, when he still makes videos that can break a million views if they are about relevant characters like the pikachu vs groot video. in fact his only real flop from what I see recently is Yoda vs Splinter which honestly makes sense two mentor characters, Splinter is based on his 2003 show, and while baby Yoda is popular Yoda algorithmically isn't as relevant due to the current state of star wars. and of course Courage and Scooby doo but I explained that earlier each of his other videos in the last year or so broke a million or are several million which is a reasonable view count when something as big as infinity wars isn't happening there's more to the algorithm and performance than just one break. I think for the most part that's everything and I'll be honest never watched VerbalAse before besides the Thano's video checked his channel out during the controversy but unless he makes his full expenditures public I would never know if he was succeeding or failing monetarily. considering his most recent video is him announcing a whole new series it doesn't really seem to be slowing him down from my point of view. not to mention while yes a lot of people are clowning on him this leak in many ways are going to put more eyes on his channel for a period of time, while I doubt he'll ever rebound to 20 million unless a significant cultural event happens that was never going to happen to begin with realistically on youtube just by how the site works.

Verbalase was my whole childhood… I’ve been in his community almost 7 years now but with everything that’s happening, I’m starting to get worried. This is hurting for me to see.
