Kuro releasing WuWa before ZZZ was the best move because most of us can’t balance more than 3 gachas so most of us are less inclined to give ZZZ a go due to getting burnt out

Every gacha game should give you a standard 5-star selector on launch (heck maybe a 4-star selector too), along with enough pulls throughout patch 1.0 to get at least 1-2 more 5-stars. It's just simple math. The best part of the game is the first 40-50 hours, so why not give players a character they want to play during that time? Everyone knows that the standard characters are gonna get instantly power crept, so why not at least make the early game experience better for everyone... give the game a shot in the arm and use the QUALITY of the game to make your money.
Yeah this is me, its why I drop most games that has characters as well characters, if I don't get to play the character I want on the get go specially on games like these I just don't feel motivated, its like being forced to play as a swordsman when you've been wanting to play as a wizard.
It's 3.4 here in Indonesia. Strangely my phone got notified when the game launched to pre-download it but just check it again now that my phone isn't compatible with the game, heck my phone can run WW in the low setting LMAO.
to be honest i guaranteed if ZZZ released before wuwa everyone be praising the combat. but wuwa really open the eyes of people on what an actually good combat system looks like. honestly the biggest con is how absolutely shit the combat is. along with the fact my biggest gripe from CBT2 and 3 came true.....difficult for hoyo is just more HP = soak glorified training dummies.
Tbh, I’m a big WuWa enjoyer but I’m also enjoying ZZZ (for now). The problem is that it feels like a more casual version of their other game, HI3. It’ll eventually get stale because it lacks that uniqueness that Genshin has and just feels kinda flat along with the enemies.
@@RyzardI've played quite a few. My first is HI3 and then Genshin. After that, I've tried a dozen. I'm also playing PGR (still my favorite gacha), Kuro's previous game. And here's what makes them different: - They implement extremely F2P-friendly systems compared to most gachas. (100% guaranteed rate for new characters in PGR and for weapons in WuWa; lower max pity; shard system; very generous by with premium currency and others like cosmetics; free A and S rank units every after patch in PGR, etc.) - Player-Dev communication is top notch. They basically showed that a gacha game that has higher development cost could still implement a less-aggressive gacha system and still earn enough. For me personally, I'd add combat here but I digress. They're the king of combat in gacha and I have yet to see a gacha game topple them. Keep in mind, Kuro may be in the spotlight but there are also great devs within the gacha sphere like Project Moon's Limbus Company for the same reason. I've heard great things about Arknights as well. We can add some of Hoyo's games here too like HI3 and HSR. But to me personally, they need to reach various factors (especially the 100% guaranteed rate for either a weapon or limited-banner character) for me to even consider their systems on par with how Kuro handles things. I'm emphasizing the 100% rate because gacha is fundamentally predatory. Literally one of the worst monetization for anything. So when I see a gacha game that gets rid of being a "gacha" in some aspect, I put them above the rest.

Kuro games understand gacha players way better than hoyo right now. Everyone that is interested to play gacha games have already played 1 or 2 gacha game right now, So how do you expect these people to put down their old gacha game that already have massive investment, with 10 to 20 5star character that they really like, to pick up a new game, start back from scratch, underpowered, no 5 star, have to gamble again to get their account running, that sucks, if they get unlucky, they just quit. Wuwa doing great by giving so many free pulls and free 5 star, it gives these veteran gacha player the feeling of power they once had in other game as fast as possible

Bro I just lost on jinshi at 75 pity to lingyang of all. Save for changli or camellya and her weapon. I would have been happy if I got encore or jianxin band 1.
Got Jiyan and Jinhsi with Jiyan's Signature weapon. Also got the standar 5 star sword. Got all 4 stars and some are S6 and some are close to S6. Got all standard 5 star characters except Ling Yang. I'm at 60 pity currently. And I have spare 80 pulls. I could guarantee Changli if I want to. For a gacha with an expensive development cost as WuWa, I think it's the most less-aggressive in terms of the gacha system. We shall truly see after a few more patches.
It just isn’t fun. Characters have 1 button for the most part. You use a skill occasionally and then you do a qte switch. You even share ult between your team so you get 1 every like 4 minutes
I agree, so many of them only have 3-5 basic attack + 1 extra combo that slightly different for each character and their ultimate just repeat the same qte move but with cinematic shot. I love the design, the whole vibe and the music of the game, but the combat is disappointing....
Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is why Wuwa try so hard to release Their game before ZZZ even though we all know the game is certainly not done cooking , not only it give people the reference of how a good combat look like, it makes ZZZ's combat value go down when it release. If ZZZ comes out first people would already have time to sink into ZZZ so even though the combat is not that crazy, they would accept that and of course not even gonna try Wuwa, hell they already done that even without ZZZ. G move from Kuro game, fast action saved them a spot in the market.
tbf, if Wuwa released after ZZZ and in a polished way with minimal issues, people will still flock to Wuwa because let's be real, its combat is miles ahead of ZZZ, even though ZZZ is supposed to be a "combat oriented" game.
Gotta be honest.. I love the visuals, the voice acting, the world concept and all but this is the first ever time that I LITERALLY FELL ASLEEP playing a game. Spent 8+ hours playing it and IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL. So sad to say but this is probably not for me but at least I tried.

For me I am waiting another honkai game that is different than hi3 and hsr. ZZZ needs a really good innovative game play to get this game going. They really improved hi3 game play with it's part 2 characters but still need an end game modes to make it better.

Weird. A lot of the complaints feel like nitpicks. Rerolling, while it is pretty normal, isn't really something required in a gacha or determines if a game is good or not, but idk. Im not a reroller as its just a waste of time I could spend just enjoying the game since I'm not a meta player and just having fun. Other people are allowed to disagree tho. Long premium roll farm is still questionable, but if it does continue to be very slow by the next patch or two, then yea, it's pretty valid critique. Nothing inherently wrong with the TV system, but I can see it just being a preference thing rather than it being something objectively wrong with the game. There is still battles in between and i find it interesting myself. Color choice is idk tbh since I personally don't find it bad so probably just preference or I'm not rly a stickler for details since im just enjoying the combat for what it is. Not sure about rolls and can't speak to much on it yet. For what it is, combat and story aren't too bad so far. I love the differences in gameplay between characters and make them quite flashy. Mobile controls are smooth or at least easier to control than in wuwa personally.
You forgot -unplayabble to some device. There are even some people that pre-download the game and cannot play because suddenly, the game is not compatible with their device.
Complains about color choice here, but says it’s a good thing on Wuwa, truly a Kuro shill moment. Idk but for me Vxv is becoming the Steambunx of the Kuro games side of gacha. Bud runs a mile and half to justify anything bad in Wuwa (said that the game has has the best possible lauch a game could have omegalul), even hypothesizes what will be fixed in the future without any type of proof (like how he said about the echoes system on the reaction video earlier today of that other guy’s “i’m quitting wuwa” video).
I blame WuWa for making me feel this way with ZZZ, tbh If WuWa didn't come out first, I'd probably be singing praises for ZZZ's combat, but no WuWa just had to ruin how I perceive real, fast, flashy combat in Gacha games really is. Don't get me wrong, if you just want to play something so simple and quick to burn time, if you just want the real casual braindead button mashing experience ZZZ is the game for you and it will be good, sadly for me nah.

just to update you, creating new accounts in wuwa now will only received 30 standard pulls from 40 and they removed the limited/weapon pulls on the get go. you can receive limited and standard pulls from 2 log in events and in the 'gifts of gratitude' events which requires union level 8.
I really dislike the TV system things, the HUD during battles. Also, none of the characters really catch my attention. I would go back to play Honkai Impact 3rd rather than playing ZZZ
What's with the horribly loud bgm starting around 19:31. I can hardly what you're saying. Anyway, I'm dropping ZZZ. I hate it when I need to watch the loading screen way too often. The game is too big to not be open world.
I'm not sure why they didn't remove the TV systems completely. I also didn't think it was that bad, plus when CCs said ZZZ removed 90% of the TVs, I thought it would be fine. I WAS *DYING* INSIDE DOING IT AGAIN AND AGAIN I FELT LIKE I WAS IN SOME PRISON. And you're _not_ supposed to feel that playing games! Even the PS5 versions has slow moment, but the fun part is: those happens on title screen, menus or even during ingame dialogues and cutscenes. When yapping hits harder than a portable black hole making machine.
They did change the TV in the beta to not be as bad as it was in the first beta but we all knew they wouldn't remove the TV system. With our integrated it was into the game system.
I haven’t been able to play it at all. Traveling so playing mobile only and while I’m able to play WuWa and HSR with no issues, I can’t even get to the ZZZ log-in screen
I did search too how to get those 100 pulls and yep, it is what I expected. also I'm using my phone, and my environmental background is only black ... nothing there except your MC or pulled character so I'm always stuck on the wall because I can't see sht
I thought I was the only one having performance issue, I can run WuWa fine in my laptop but ZZZ is having constant frame drops. Hoping they fix that soon because the music is so good and because of frame drop the music will stop suddenly.
I was pretty hyped for this game but honestly it feels like such a drag to play it sometimes. Also for some reason the game lags even tho I'm able to play hsr,genshin and wuwa (on mobile) on the highest graphics while zzz is a little struggling on medium and a few settings on high and low. Also the amount of pulls we get for the limited banner is a joke... I have been playing the whole day with breaks but barely got 20 pulls in. I'm fckn dying already. The only thing I have to say is the best out of it is the story telling and the MC (especially wise, I like him A LOT)
Dunno i ve been enjoying the game rn but i hate that i am unsure if the devs well be listening and changing whats bad (unlike wuwa where every time the game faces a problem i am 100% sure the devs will fix it cuz they listen) overall i feel like zzz is good but wuwa is GREAT
Idk, I like the game. The characters and their personalities were really good for me, the city was really fleshed out and the NPCs as well looked really unique and different in my personal opinion, but I just wish there was more figthing involved because I like the combat and just hitting that attack chain is like really satisfying for me. But seeing all these people just saying the game was bad and that they just were sleeping through it makes me kinda sad that they didn't enjoy it as much as I did, but nonetheless I guess it just relies on personal preference. And in my personal opinion I didn't like WuWa's character designs as well as the story but the combat was good just not intriguing for me to keep playing it. I'm not saying I hate WuWa, but it's just like what I said earlier; personal preference.
Its weird. I play with my laptop with geforce 1050 it works very well, and its graphics settings is almost to the highest. While I set almost to the lowest on wuwa it still plays horrible (it requires 1060 at minimum so yeah its my issue but you got my idea). The only problem I have is that at mobile, all the screens are black except the skies and the charas. But for now idk if these are visual bug or just their potato phone
the thing that they have in the game didn't really justify the size and requirement for me. With HSR, WuWa and Genshin you can say yeah.. they had a lot of map. With this... the exploration literally a TV, i rather use the old HI3 sistem where you just in lobby and select the stage since it was much faster and i can go to the battle asap (which is the game main selling point)
Everybody on the Chinese side saying Mihoyo just lied about that 180pulls bs where 80pulls are Bangboo which nobody gives a fk the rest of it are normal pulls you get by normal progressing and it can take weeks by this logic maybe Wuwa should count the 5 star selector as 180 pulls
They didnt lie about the 80 pulls though they said 80 was bangboo pull currency. I can understand them thinking that 100 pulls one. But it also never specified which currency it was.
Nah you gotta compare it to all the other gachas, they're all competing for people's time. If anything, similarity to HI3 is just another negative. If people wanted that game, they would just go play it. I would be more interested in the opinions of the CN community, because there were so many beta tests for this game, so the final product is likely indicative of what CN wanted the most. If they're not happy, then yeah maybe Hoyo fucked up somewhere
thing is The main reason people compare ZZZ to Wuwa despite the obvious fucking difference is mainly to see if itll outsold wuwa too hence why for some god damn reason people call it the "Wuwa killer" 🤦 since its a "new" hoyoverse game itll no doubt out sold PGR and Honkai impact3rd so its an instant win regardless if its a downgrade so people find no reason to compare because for some reason they base their view on how good the game is with how much money they can suck off from their players who wouldnt want a monopoly am i right?

ZZZ at least has some polish and does not have voice acting and story that sounds like it was made by AI from 3 years ago. Like if all people judged other games like WuWa as harshly they are currently judging ZZZ there would be almost no one left to play WuWa.
Got lucky with my pulls. Got Ellen and Soldier 11 early. Wanted Grace or Rina. Only playing for those two honestly. Story is okay. Combat is okay and The TV mode is abysmally boring. Overall it’s something I’ll play for about 20 minutes a day. I do like the music and the character designs especially Grace. I play WuWa about an hour a day. I’ll keep playing but it’s not a priority for me.
LOL I said before, that 180 pulls they paraded, are not "free", but what you gonna get after putting hours and hours in game, plus as I understand most comes from timegated events/7 day logins, so it's a week long grind. New gacha needs to give promised free pulls in mail at the start, so people can reroll and get account that they will want to invest time and money. If you gonna waste time and get shitty standard character, or lose 50/50 on hard pity - the will to play be reduced to zero.
@@Skyeeee03 More important is that Wuwa gave a 5* from beginner banner but also 2x selectors. And on top of that 4/5 are visually well designed and 3 of those also very good in gameplay. ZZZ needs to atleast give a selector because the choices are much worse in terms of visual design.
Crazy part is that a lot of people cant play zzz on their phones. And guess what, hoyo told them that their phones dont meet requirements. The community is telling people that its their fault for not having the latest phone. But when wuwa had issue (which was not as bad as zzz now.) it was kuro's fault and wuwa was a dogshit game. Also, mind you, I have not had a single issue playing wuwa on my pc or my phone the entire time. yet I get stuttering some few times in zzz.
the game is too early to be judged right now so I cant really say it is bad but I hope things get better in the future updates. Ppl have seen so many other games so far and most of them are just hating by just hearing things from random person. Every gatcha was the same at it's launch but ppl seem to take thing too personally for whatever reason
the tv is so bad. need to do this stuff every hollow zero and main story. And by the way things are shown in the game for now, I would need to do hollow zero 7-10 times minimum to get all the rewards. I just logged off after i saw this, reached lv 19, i guess ill just do daily for this game and eventually stop playing if i get tired of it. such unnecessary annoyance in a good game. They even add a skip button, but later a lot of the boring dialog has to be skipped manually. What is this company and the devs even doing? they make good games, but fill them with annoyances that frustrate players constantly.
You nail my thoughts exactly with the limited banner pulls locked way too far in the game, I am lvl 25 already and have been able to make just like 20 limited banner pulls it just sucks, I don't wanna invest in characters I don't want too and when I get her ill have no materials for her, asuming I even get her, it seems they made it on purpose to make you spend, I will not give this hoyo suckers a cent... Most character design are very appealing also but most of them are not ones I'd like to build. The only thing I enjoy at the moment is the story telling and the art style/animations... So sad
I play it on PS5 and I don't think it's that bad, sure the game needs to improve and a lot but it's fun and that's important but WuWa needs to be on PS5, Kuro needs to beat Hoyo one of these days on the console, because ZZZ showed up on launch on all platforms but WuWa did not so I'm concerned about it's future for people that don't have gaming PCs.
But hsr comes late on ps5 too ..when their genshin is day 1 ps4 . I really don't like Hoyo's obsession with Lolis. As if they're trying to attract pdfs. Children characters are fine, but lolis (adult/mature mind in a child's body) are weird to me.
What I hated the most was I did 6 rerolls the first 3 accounts I got Nekomato 😕☹️ and for the other 3 accounts I got units I couldn't care less about I was hoping one of them would have given me Lycaon or Alexandrina but they just spit in my face so far my experience with the game isn't going well 😅 I must say the game truly is Living up to its name zzz 😴 im not sure why they couldn't let us choose our first S rank unit Guaranteed but now I need to summon 300 times to get the unit I want after missing my first 50 it just sucks I get that its a gacha game but come on its the launch they could have thrown us a bone people are probably wondering why im complaining about getting Nekomato well to put it simple he play style doesn't suite me of having to run around and slash and Dodge l.
IIRC literally evebody complained about the TV thing back in CBT. Devs said okay, we'll do something about it. And boi it's still there for the majority of the game. The devs don't really listen to players, huh. To be fair, i really like everything about ZZZ EXCEPT the gameplay. And the performance issues. WuWa on launch was around 20GB and ran super smooth on my so-so PC, but this game took a whole 60GB and made my PC fans go crazy... how???
Zzz is just an absolute downgrade of WuWa in every way. It also doesn't help that the developer is Hoyoverse who is known to neglect and ignore the playerbase.
They really dont know what is their target audience for this game. Hoyo is just outstanding in storytelling/animations it's like reading a comic book with some battle sequences every now and then.
I have problems with Zzz core gameplay and i don’t like its foundation, when I compare it to genshin And Wuwa, I REALLY like the bones of these games genshin squandered its potential in combat, Wuwa can still mess up but that’s just how it is for me.
Dude if you dont like the game dont play it...this is completely dependent on people's opinion of what types of game they like...as as for open world dude dont expect every game game to be open world
